MT4 traders will benefit from the improvement already made on the MT5 version.

📌 1. Customer Care
-----------------------
Even if we conceived this product first for our own trading accounts (like all our products btw ^^), we have heard other users' needs:
📍 incorporation of a spread filter,
📍 possibility of trading from one evening to the next morning,
📍 automatic broker’s timezone detection.

📌 2. Account Protection
----------------------------
☝️ The upcoming times promise to be rather volatile and we felt that the protection of our accounts (yours and ours) should be reinforced.

So we have:
👉 reorganized our configuration panel so that you can clearly set the Equity Drawdown above which the EA should be cut OFF.

In the previous version it was nested in the PropFirm section and not clear enough.
✔️ Now you can set a Daily Drawdown and a Global Equity DD in % or the value.


📌 3. New Setfiles
--------------------

👉 we have embedded in all our previous setfiles a global protection of our accounts: if the Equity Drawdown is > 30% the algo will be turned OFF.

☝️ besides, we are coming up with 3 new setfiles that are optimized for the times to come
EURUSD (Max Equity DD of 7.5%)
GBPUSD (Max Equity DD of 10%)
XAUUSD (Max Equity DD of 10%)

Dear Traders,

We are releasing today an important update of MetaSHIELD that deals with 4 important aspects.

📌 1. Customer Care
-----------------------
Even if we have done this product first for our own trading accounts (like all the other ones btw ^^), we have heard other users' needs:
📍 incorporation of a spread filter,
📍 possibility of trading from one evening to the next morning,
📍 automatic broker’s timezone detection.

Thanks for this important feedback.

🔹 The Set-Up section will be updated by today with pictures but you will find these modifications in the new config panel under these names.

🔹 "Allowed Points Spread": sets the max spread points above which the algo will not take the trade

🔹 "Trade overnight": just indicate directly the hour of the next day in the current day (17:00 03:00 = from today 17:00 to tomorrow 03:00 am)

🔹 "Auto-detect Timezone": sets to “true” to activate auto detection of your broker’s timezone for your Live account. Nothing to do in the hours section.

🔹 " Backtest TimeZone Offset"
For your Backtests, there is no way for the program to detect the timezone.
So we developed an “Hour OFFSET” parameter vs the timezone of our own broker (ICMarkets whose servers are GMT+3 ).

You need to get your own broker’s timezone vs GMT+3 and enter the difference in the Backtest TimeZone Offset variable.
-1 = the servers are running in a TimeZone “-1 hour” vs GMT+3

📌 3. Uneasiness to reproduce our backtests with 100% qualitative data
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Without 100% qualitative data, you have struggled to reproduce our equity curves and sometimes you were facing negative performances.

So we decided to rework our setfiles
👉 so that “low quality data backtest” would match with “high quality ones”. Yeah we can do magic ;-))


📌 4. New Setfiles
--------------------
Taking the previous points into consideration

👉 we have embedded in all our previous setfiles a global protection of our accounts: if the Equity Drawdown is > 30% the algo will be turned OFF.
