▶️ Today I have continued working on the next version of Nexus MT5. I wanted to optimize the parameters using the MQL5 CLOUD network. It hasn't been a wide optimization, just 10000 passes over 5 years on the EURUSD symbol with each tick.

Interesting facts about the process:

▶️ 55 minutes to complete the optimization. With a standard PC with 8 processors, it would have taken 2-3 days to optimize the MT5 version.

▶️ The MT4 version would have taken about 20 days.

▶️ Recovery factor greater than 9 in some results.

9 parts of profit for every part of DD is something I already like, and I hope you do too. We almost didn't get 10.

▶️ Of the 10,000 passes, more than 95% are above gain 0 and more than 75% have passed a recovery factor of 3 and more than 50% have passed a recovery factor of 6.

▶️ Although I have not yet incorporated the Nexus MT4 loss recovery system, nor have I been able to optimize different TP and STEP logics, the results are starting to outperform all NEXUS competitors, and of course let's not talk about the price.

▶️ In the winning set there is a closure for the opposite condition and a closure for maximum operations, that is, a double stop loss.

how many applications of this do i have available? i'm thinking of installing it on another mt4. i only have a demo account at the moment using nexus v3 mt5

If by applications you mean activations, metaquotes offers 5, we add 95, in total you have 100. It cannot be installed on MT4, obviously, it is an EA for MT5

I have the Nexus EA running on a demoaccount until it's finished, but I'm very satisfied with the results so far.

For future updates I'd love to see the option for dynamic lotsize (that your lotsize increases with the account balance) and same with the Take Profit Option.

IF it's working in the future as it is now you kinda have to increase the price since 500$ will be way to cheap.

I'm excited for future updates and work with Nexus on a real money account :)

when you get the mt4 v6.40 set files that are recommended for the mt5 v4 now and try to copy and paste them into mt5 presets folder, or make an alteration( like your timezone) to any file and save it, there may be no presets folder there in the data folder. enrique will not help you with this. he will act like you are crazy and like you called him during dinner.

you have to actually create the presets folder yourself !!!! or when you try to save a preset it will go to ANY random folder you last used. i gather this is a bug in mt5.

Hello Enrique, in the Nexus MT5 there is no button to turn off the new cycle to close the positions before update to v5. I can't find anything in the settings to enable the button.

nexus mt5 v5.1 has been released. follow the mt4 version instructions in the manual to update it as a guide even though it is a bit different. close all trades, or wait til they mostly do, turn off autotrade, go to view>navigator>market>my purchases and find your ea's>upgrade. refresh the ea.s load to chart, load set files, i think v4 files from mt4 v6.4 are ok. set your time zone, magic numbers, lot size etc. note: if you are creating set files or copying them from one broker account to another be very careful to check the suffix on the traded pair and the risk filter pair. which is like xauusd or xauusd_i or xauusd.a. this is incredibly important!! even if the filter is set to false this must be correct. i have accounts with all 3 suffixs and i can't just copy the set files as they are from one to the other. to check which version is loaded, after you drag it onto the chart go to the COMMON tab where you select "allow algo trading" . the version number is there. unfortunately it is not in the title.

if you have mt5 nexus, and have been using sets from v4, in v5.1, note they don't work well in v6. they close the trades at a tiny profit less than 50 cents. info from Enrique. check the take profit . if it is set to pips not atr they are the old ones. go to the "complete user guide" link on the main page, then below the huge box saying "download the sets here" start again. check magic numbers, time, lot size, instrument suffix and risk filter suffix if you have suffixs. happy trading

Yes of course. It is a common error, this is because there is some flag that cannot be initialized. There are several reasons for this, the first thing you should do is enter the market watch (Ctrl+M) and make sure that the xauusd symbol is on the list. If not, right click and "Show All". That should solve the problem. In the event that the XAUUSD symbol has another name in your broker (Gold, xauusd.f, XAUUSD.M,...), then you must modify the name of the symbol in the Nexus inputs, in the volatility filter ( of XAUUSD to what corresponds)
