Hybrid Basket System for MetaTrader 5 — Gold (XAUUSD)

Pipbit HBS Gold is an automated Expert Advisor designed for trading Gold (XAUUSD) on MetaTrader 5. It combines predefined trading logic with configurable basket recovery, profit targets, trading sessions and risk-management controls.

The system manages BUY and SELL baskets independently, allowing users to configure their preferred operating profile while keeping the underlying trading strategy consistent.

How HBS Works

HBS monitors market conditions and opens a starter position when its internal entry conditions are satisfied.

If a basket progresses into recovery, the system manages additional positions according to its predefined basket structure and grid triggers.

Each basket is monitored against its configured profit target, safety settings and active trading restrictions.

HBS also includes operating modes that control new entries and existing baskets during trading sessions, economic news events and weekend conditions.

Basket Safety and Risk Controls

Pipbit HBS Gold includes two important adjustable safety parameters.

Deep Safety Starts From G Level: 19

Deep Safety Mode begins at the configured basket level and applies the system's deeper-basket safety behaviour.

Final Hard Cut At G Level: 20

The Final Hard Cut determines the configured basket stage at which the final safety-cut conditions apply.

Both parameters are fully adjustable in the EA's Inputs settings.

The factory configuration uses G19/G20, which permits deeper basket progression and may result in substantial floating drawdown, margin pressure or realized losses.

Users may select earlier safety levels according to their available capital, preferred risk exposure and testing results.

The Final Hard Cut is not a guarantee of a maximum financial loss.

Basket Management Modes

HBS supports four trading restriction modes:

FREEZE: Blocks new starter entries while allowing existing baskets to continue under normal basket-management logic.

ADVANCED_FREEZE: Blocks new starters and allows existing baskets to close instead of expanding when the next grid trigger is reached.

FORCED_EXIT: Blocks new starters and initiates closure of existing baskets according to the applicable restriction.

NO_BLOCK: Allows normal basket operation when no other trading restrictions apply.

These modes can be configured for supported session, news, manual and weekend controls.

Recommended Trading Environment

Platform: MetaTrader 5

Primary instrument: Gold / XAUUSD

Recommended timeframe: M1

Preferred account type: Cent account, particularly for smaller-capital configurations.

Leverage: Around 1:1000 where available and appropriate.

Operating environment: MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal or compatible VPS with stable internet connectivity.

For normal operation, one HBS instance on a Gold M1 chart is recommended.

A standard trading account may involve substantially greater financial exposure than a cent account using a similar lot configuration.

Capital and Lot Multiplier

HBS allows users to adjust operating exposure through the Lot Multiplier and Starter Lot Size settings.

For example, the operating manual illustrates a cent-account configuration with a USD 500 deposit (50,000 USC displayed balance), Lot Multiplier 1.00 and an approximate starter lot of 0.04.

This is a sizing illustration, not a guaranteed-safe capital requirement or a prediction of trading performance.

Users should evaluate their broker's contract specifications, available margin, leverage and basket risk before selecting a configuration.

Product Installation and Licensing

Pipbit HBS Gold is distributed through MQL5 Market.

Product installation, protection and activations are managed by the MQL5 Market system. The EA does not require separate HBS account-number registration or custom licence expiry.

The product is intended for MetaTrader 5 and can be tested using the platform's Strategy Tester.
