Gold EMA Trend BreakEven is a fully automated trading application designed for the MetaTrader 5 platform, optimized specifically for Gold (XAUUSD) trading. The application utilizes a trend-following methodology based on the crossover logic of two Exponential Moving Averages.

Working Principle
The application continuously monitors the market structure and executes trades based on technical indicators:
  • Trend Crossover: The system identifies potential trading opportunities when the 9-period Exponential Moving Average crosses the 15-period Exponential Moving Average.
  • Distance Filter: To avoid trading in sideways markets, the application only opens a position when the distance between the two moving average lines is equal to or greater than the user-defined minimum points value.
  • Candle-Based Protection: The initial protective stop level is calculated using the high or low prices of the preceding candlestick.
Position Management
The system includes built-in rules to manage active positions without using risky grid or martingale components:
  • Partial Profit Taking: When the market price moves in favor of the trade and reaches a one-to-one risk-to-reward ratio, the application automatically closes 50% of the position volume to secure partial profits.
  • Break-Even Adjustment: Immediately after the partial profit is taken, the remaining position volume is secured by modifying the protective stop level to the exact entry price.
  • Final Target: The remaining volume is managed toward a fixed one-to-two risk-to-reward profit target based on the initial structure.
