i believe that is going to be a fault in your terminal. if you have a different terminal try it on a different instance of MT5 or log into a different account on the terminal and see if that fixes the BT issue for you. :)

look in the journal is it saying anything like order type not accepted or any errors showing in your terminal logs? also what dates are you running it on in the tester? that is very odd. i am opening positions on my terminal with the system just fine i just downloaded it and ran it in my tester and im getting orders. make sure the balance in the tester is sufficient for opening minimum lot size on your broker.

because i am for the success of the community as a whole just as much as i am for my own success here on mql5. I have released turbulence fx and AI gold dust to show the community this. These systems are valuable yes, but the community has a view that developers are scammers and cheats. I have been called this myself by members here. I dont use signals so i am a scam artist. well these systems are my answer to that claim. My systems are designed for you traders to be successful for both you and myself. I code my paid systems using the same practices as these free systems at the end of the day and because i have a system listed as a paid EA a lot of community members believe i need to show them more proof they work, more proof im not a scam artist, more proof im a professional before they will buy from me. So i give systems like this to the community free of charge to validate my status as an honest and trustworthy developer that is here to provide something of worth to the person next to me. I know these free systems are top of the line and perform as well as any 1000 dollar system here on mql5, but im not here to take advantage of anyone. your success is my goal just as much as my own success is a goal here. I wish everyone on the platform could see that in me and realize this fact.

I conducted a backtest of this advisor in the standard version:
to simply look at the graph (based on real ticks) of the result, it took 1 hour, because for some reason only 1 core in the processor is used (out of 24). Results: backtest 01.10.2024-31.01.2025
+60$, forward test 01.02.2025-04.04.2025 -3$. Result: the advisor is no longer relevant. I won't even try to optimize at this speed.

Mike soon lost contact with us. You can't say his EA is bad. Just say it's not good, and then he won't contact you anymore.

Hi Michael,

Applying your Gold Dust to a demo account and its not working, only worked once. Need to change  lot size,

did you change the inputs to the recommended inputs in the description? spread could be the issue. make sure the inputs are as shown to make sure the EA functions in testing. its working for me in the strategy tester. make sure there are no errors in the journal or experts tab when using the visualization feature in the tester. you can get any errors coming from the EA that way even in the tester.

Can some tell why I can't test or optimise the bot? I just press start on strategy tester, paper the stop button  and , after few seconds, nothing happened, no results, the green start button appears again.
