OS Alpha FX Platinum Gold is an automated gold-trading Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It combines pending-order grid trading, progressive lot sizing, basket management and a short-term market shock filter with an integrated black-and-gold dashboard.
This backtest covers June 1 to October 17, 2026, using version 1.04 on XAUUSD.s, H1, with USD 100,000 starting capital and leverage of 1:500. The supplied Strategy Tester report shows 100% real-tick history quality.

To match this test’s volume configuration, set the maximum lot per order to 5.0 while keeping the starting lot at 0.01. The robot can increase individual order sizes as the grid develops, up to the configured limit. Five lots is a per-order ceiling, not a fixed entry size or a limit on total open exposure.

Short Shock Guard temporarily pauses new entries during configured price-movement or spread conditions while existing-position management continues. It does not impose an account-level loss limit.
These are historical simulated results, not live performance or expected returns. The 5-lot setting describes this specific test and is not a universal recommendation for every USD 100,000 account. Grid trading and progressive lot sizing can cause substantial losses. Broker conditions and settings affect results; evaluate the configuration in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before live use.

OS Alpha FX Platinum Gold is an Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5, designed for automated gold trading on XAUUSD. It combines a pending-order grid strategy, configurable position sizing, short-term market shock detection and a black-and-gold trading dashboard.
The robot manages buy and sell positions separately, places and adjusts pending orders, and applies its configured basket exit and trailing rules. It requires a MetaTrader 5 hedging account.
The strategy uses progressive, martingale-style lot sizing. The starting lot, lot multiplier and maximum volume per new order are configurable. Version 1.04 has a default maximum of 0.10 lot per new order. This limit applies to individual orders; total open exposure can exceed it.

Short Shock Guard monitors rapid price movements and spread conditions against recent one-minute market activity. When a configured threshold is reached, the robot pauses new entries and grid additions and attempts to cancel its pending orders. Management of existing positions continues.
New trading resumes after the configured waiting period and confirmation that conditions have remained below the recovery thresholds. The filter responds to observed price and spread changes; it does not predict news events or guarantee protection from losses.
The following results are historical simulations from supplied MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester reports. Both tests used version 1.04 with LIGHT shock settings, XAUUSD.s, the H1 timeframe and leverage of 1:500. The test period was October 1–17, 2026, with reported history quality of 100% real ticks.

These are short-period backtests, not live trading results or forecasts. The deposit amounts are test conditions, not recommended minimum balances. Results vary with broker specifications, spreads, commissions, execution, leverage and settings. Closed-balance charts do not show floating equity losses.
Before use, test the robot with your broker’s gold symbol and contract specifications. MetaTrader 5 must remain running and connected with algorithmic trading enabled, either on a computer or suitable virtual private server.
Grid trading and progressive lot sizing can accumulate substantial exposure and cause large drawdowns or loss of the entire trading balance. The per-order lot limit and Shock Guard do not cap total account losses. This version does not include an account-level equity stop or a hard limit on aggregate open volume.
