IPF Price Action

One chart. Six markets. Nine strategies.

IPF Price Action is a portfolio Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 built on pure price action. It trades EURUSD, GBPUSD, GBPJPY, USDJPY, Gold (XAUUSD) and Brent oil (XBRUSD) with 9 independent strategies, all from a single chart. Attach it to any symbol, switch on OneChart Setup, and the EA runs the whole portfolio for you.

No indicators. No martingale. No grid. Every trade has a hard Stop Loss and Take Profit.

Pivot levels, breakouts, position management. That’s the whole idea.

How it works

1. It finds the pivot levels. On H4 and D1 the EA looks for pivot highs and lows: points where price turned and which are confirmed by bars on both sides. It only takes a level that is the extreme of its area and sits far enough from the current price.
2. It sets the traps. A Buy Stop goes above the pivot high, a Sell Stop below the pivot low. The market decides which side triggers.
3. It doesn’t double up. If an order already sits near a level, no new one is placed.
4. Orders expire. Each strategy has its own pending order lifetime (6 to 31 days). A stale level is removed.
5. It manages every position, every minute: hard SL and TP from the first tick, break-even after a set move, trailing stop, and a fake-breakout exit: if the first M1 candle after entry closes against the position and beyond the entry price, the trade is closed immediately instead of waiting for the full stop. There is also an emergency close if price jumps past the hard stop (gap, slippage).
6. It scales with price. For Gold, Brent and EURUSD, SL, TP and trailing distances are recalculated from the current price level, so settings stay sensible when the market moves to different price zones.

The portfolio

Each strategy has its own magic number and its own money management. Switch any of them on or off.

What IPF Price Action is not

• This is not an AI system. No neural network, no “deep learning engine”, no model “trained on 20 years of ticks”. Every decision can be traced by hand on a chart.
• No martingale. A loss is a loss. The EA takes it and moves on.
• No grid, no averaging. One idea, one position, one stop.
• No indicators. Pivot levels, orders, arithmetic.
• No 400-parameter config screen.

What you test is the same logic that runs live, because there is nothing hidden in it.

Features

• OneChart Setup: one chart, any symbol. The EA trades every enabled instrument. Turn OneChart off and it trades only the chart symbol.
• Automatic broker symbol detection: EURUSD.m , GOLD , BRENT , UKOIL ... a common prefix or suffix, manual names per symbol, a synonym list, then a server symbol scan with currency checks (so EURUSDT or GOLDEUR are never picked by mistake). An on-chart panel shows what is mapped to what.
• Money management: fixed lot, balance-step lot, or risk-percent by distance to SL. Global MM or per-strategy MM and lot multiplier. Custom balance for fixed risk without compounding. Margin and broker volume limit checks.
• Prop Firm module: daily and total drawdown limits (% or money). It triggers early, at 90% of the limit by default, so spread and slippage on the close don’t push you over. On a breach it closes all positions, removes pending orders, pauses trading until the next server day, then restores the orders. State survives a terminal restart. Also includes a cluster-risk limit, randomization of entry, SL, TP and trailing by a few points, and a drawdown watchdog that doesn’t depend on ticks.
• News filter: built-in MT5 economic calendar, high-impact only, per currency of each symbol (GBPJPY reacts to GBP and JPY news, Gold and Brent to USD). Pending orders are removed or frozen during the window and restored afterwards with their original parameters and lifetime.
• Friday cutoff: pending orders are removed on Friday evening and restored at the start of the week, per instrument session.
• Real or virtual pending orders. Virtual ones are invisible to the broker and survive restarts.
• Session awareness: no requests during an instrument’s break (e.g. Gold’s daily pause).
• Works on hedging and netting accounts.

Setup

• Symbol: any (the EA trades the portfolio from one chart)
• Timeframe: any (H1 recommended)
• Recommended deposit: from $500 (check your broker’s minimum lot for Gold and Brent)
• Account: hedging or netting; Raw / ECN low-spread accounts preferred
• VPS recommended, the terminal should run 24/5
• If your broker uses a suffix, set SymbolSuffix . If a symbol has another name, enter it in Name_XAUUSD , Name_XBRUSD and so on.
• Set LotMode = Risk % , choose your risk, enable AutoTrading. Check the on-chart panel: all symbols found, strategies active.

Notes

Every trade carries a stop-loss. With 9 strategies on 6 markets, several positions can be open at the same time, so total exposure adds up. 1% per trade is aggressive for the full portfolio; 0.3% to 0.5% is a conservative start. Test on a demo account first and scale up once you’ve seen it work on your broker. As with any trading system, past performance does not guarantee future results.
