DOUBLEorNOTHING Daily is the version of the DOUBLEorNOTHING family designed to combine an aggressive Gold / XAUUSD trading strategy with a capital-management model focused on frequently protecting realized profits.
The core idea behind the DOUBLEorNOTHING family is simple: recovery strategies may generate strong growth, but they can also experience significant drawdowns. For this reason, every version uses the same main trading concept while handling capital and profits differently.
In Daily mode, the objective is to maintain a defined active capital base and virtually separate realized profit above that base after each completed trading session.
How it works
The EA identifies XAUUSD trading opportunities through its internal technical entry logic and opens the first position using the user-defined BaseLot.
If the market moves against the initial position, the EA may add recovery levels according to its internal progression. The complete basket is managed as a single structure and is closed when the recovery target calculated by the system is reached.
Trading is fully automated.
The BaseLot is configurable, for example:
- 0.01
- 0.02
- 0.05
- 0.10
The complete recovery lot structure scales proportionally from this value.
What makes Daily different
The Daily version operates, by default, with an active capital base of 50,000 account units.
During the trading session, realized profits remain available to the strategy.
When the session is ready to be finalized and no basket is open, the EA checks whether the active balance is above the configured base.
Any excess is then recorded as virtually protected profit.
Simple example:
An account starts the daily cycle with 50,000 active units.
If the session finishes at 51,200 with all baskets closed, 1,200 units are internally classified as protected profit.
The next cycle starts again with approximately 50,000 units of active trading capital.
This separation is handled internally by the EA. The funds remain physically inside the same broker account, but the protected amount is no longer considered available to finance new recovery levels.
The EA does not force-close baskets
DOUBLEorNOTHING Daily does not close an open basket simply because the daily protection time has been reached.
If a basket is still open near the end of the session, normal strategy management continues.
The basket keeps following its recovery and exit logic.
Only after the basket is completely closed does the EA complete the daily profit-protection process.
This prevents the daily protection mechanism from becoming an artificial stop loss.
Session-close protection
The EA uses the trading-session information provided by the broker.
By default, no new basket is opened during the final 30 minutes before the trading session closes.
Existing baskets continue to be managed normally.
Virtual protected capital
It is important to understand that protected profit is not withdrawn from the broker.
The EA uses an internal virtual wallet to separate:
Active capital — capital available to the trading strategy.
Protected profit — funds that physically remain in the account but are excluded from financing future recovery cycles.
This makes it possible to track operating capital and accumulated protected profit separately.
Risk and margin management
Before adding new positions, the EA checks available execution and margin conditions.
The ability to open all recovery levels depends on the broker, leverage, XAUUSD contract specifications, starting lot size and available capital.
Increasing BaseLot proportionally increases the exposure of the complete recovery structure.

DOUBLEorNOTHING Daily uses a recovery strategy with progressively increasing exposure.
This type of approach can generate significant drawdowns and may result in partial or complete loss of the capital used.
Virtual profit protection reduces the amount considered available for future recovery cycles, but it does not physically remove funds from the broker account.
Past results, backtests or monitoring accounts do not guarantee future performance.
Testing the EA in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account is strongly recommended before using real capital.
