Supertrend MTF Expert Advisor is an automated trading system for MetaTrader 4 based on the same Supertrend MTF trading concept used by the free Supertrend MTF Indicator available in the MQL5 Market and CodeBase.

The Expert Advisor is designed to automate Supertrend-based trend following while keeping the trading rules transparent and configurable. It analyzes market direction using the Supertrend calculation and can confirm signals using closed candles, helping to reduce decisions based on incomplete candle movement.

The system can be used on Forex pairs, Gold, indices and other instruments supported by MetaTrader 4.

The EA continuously evaluates the selected Supertrend conditions and manages entries according to the configured trading rules. The chart information panel allows the trader to monitor the current trend state, confirmed trend, spread and position status.

This Expert Advisor was developed as the automated companion to the free Supertrend MTF Indicator. Traders can use the free indicator for visual analysis and manual signal evaluation, while this EA provides automated execution based on the same underlying trading concept.

Supertrend is a trend-following method, so market conditions such as sideways movement, volatility, spread and symbol characteristics can influence trading results. Parameters should therefore be adjusted according to the instrument and timeframe being traded.

It is strongly recommended to test the Expert Advisor in the Strategy Tester and on a demo account before using it on a live trading account.
