EffortPO — XAUUSD M15 Trend-Breakout Expert Advisor

Overview
EffortPO is a fully automated Expert Advisor for XAUUSD (Gold) on the M15 timeframe. It runs one clear strategy: wait for an established multi-timeframe trend, then enter on a breakout of the recent price range using a pending stop order. Every position opens with a fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit and is then managed by an automatic break-even and trailing-stop routine. EffortPO holds one position at a time — there is no grid, no martingale, and no averaging into losing trades.
The design priority is capital preservation: trade selectively, define the risk before entering, move to break-even quickly, and let trends run.
How it works
- Multi-timeframe trend filter (M15 / H1 / H4) — only trades with the prevailing trend.
- Momentum confirmation (RSI, Stochastic, MACD, CCI, ADX/DI) required before any entry.
- Breakout entry via a pending stop order at a recent swing high/low.
- Fixed Stop Loss and Take Profit on every trade.
- Automatic break-even + trailing stop to protect open profit.
- One position at a time. No grid, martingale, or hedging.
Two trading model --> Model 1 (default): more selective, fewer trades, wider stop — built around capital preservation (recommended), Model 2---> shorter stop and a looser filter for more frequent setups with smaller per-trade risk. Model 3 and Model 4---> in development
Risk management
- Automatic risk-percent position sizing (or fixed lot) please tweak as per your risk profile (can go upto 7% without any drastic drawdowns).
- Optional losing-streak protection (reduces lot size after a configurable number of consecutive losses).
- Optional daily-loss limit and equity stop.
Requirements
- Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold) only. Timeframe: M15.
- A low-spread Raw / ECN account is strongly recommended — the strategy is sensitive to spread and commission.
- A VPS is recommended for stable 24/5 operation.
- Suggested minimum deposit: $1000.
