Hassila Quant AI Chronos trades EURUSD by the clock. It came out of a study of ten years of EURUSD data, looking for moments of the day when the price tends to behave the same way. It uses two legs that work at different hours and never stack positions.
Leg 1 sells in the European morning, from Tuesday to Friday, and closes before New York opens. Leg 2 starts with the New York session: it waits for the first break of the recent 40 minute range and trades against it, closing the same afternoon. Every order goes to the server with its stop loss. No trade is kept overnight.
Risk and protections
Risk is set as a percentage of the balance, with leg 2 at half of leg 1. A drawdown brake cuts the risk in half while the balance is below its peak by a chosen amount. The lot is checked against free margin, volume limits and the broker stop and freeze levels. The EA does not open trades close to the end of the broker session, skips entries when the spread is too wide, and closes its trades before the session ends. There is no grid, no martingale and no averaging down.
The panel
The panel shows New York time, what each leg is doing and today’s result. Buttons on the chart change the risk, switch the brake on or off and turn each leg on or off. The settings are kept after a restart. The chart also shows the leg 1 window, the New York session and the breakout levels of leg 2.
Before you use it
Attach it to one EURUSD chart, any timeframe. The New York time is found automatically from the server clock. Results depend on spread, commission and execution, so test it with your broker’s data and costs and use a demo account before going live. The screenshots show hypothetical results from a historical simulation. Past results do not guarantee future results.
