Scalper Quant Hassila is an intraday scalper built for EURUSD. It reads the market on a short timeframe and looks for moments where a quick push up starts to run out of strength. When it finds that pattern, it opens a sell and aims for a small move back. It only trades short.
Every order goes to the server with its stop loss and take profit already in place. Both adapt to current volatility, so they widen when the market moves more and tighten when it is quiet. Everything the EA opened is closed at 16:00 New York time, so nothing is left overnight or over the weekend.
How it trades
The EA can hold up to three sells at the same time, but it only adds a new one when the price has moved far enough from the last entry, so entries spread out instead of piling up at one price. Trades that stay open too long are closed by time. New entries are taken during the European and American sessions only.
Most trades end at the take profit and the losses are larger than the wins, which is normal for this kind of system. It trades often, many times a day on an active day, so execution quality matters.
Risk and protections
The lot comes from a risk percentage of the balance, measured against the stop loss of each trade. Three buttons on the panel switch the risk between 0.5%, 1% and 2% while the EA runs. You can also use a fixed lot or a lot per 1000 of balance. The lot is rounded to the broker step, checked against the volume limits and reduced if free margin is not enough.
After a losing streak the EA pauses for a while and starts again with a clean count. If equity falls a set percentage below its highest point, the lot is cut in half until the account recovers. It waits a few minutes after a stop loss, skips signals when the spread is too wide for current volatility, and checks the stop level, the freeze level and the trading session before each order and each close. Its state is saved, so a terminal restart does not reset it.
The news filter uses the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar and blocks new entries around red news from the United States and the euro area, such as rate decisions, inflation, GDP, payrolls and central bank speeches. Red events are matched by calendar ID, so it works with the terminal in any language. The calendar does not exist in the Strategy Tester, so the filter only works on a live or demo chart.
The panel
The panel shows what the EA is doing and why it is waiting, the New York time and the time left to the daily close, the open sells and their floating result, today's result, the next lot, the drawdown from the equity peak and the next red news release. The ACTIVE button stops new entries while open trades keep their stop and target. The background is translucent. On the chart, each trade is marked at the entry and at the exit, joined by a dotted line with the pips of the trade.
Before you use it
Attach it to a EURUSD chart, preferably on a hedging account. On a netting account it holds one sell at a time. If your broker uses a suffix such as EURUSD.pro, attach it to that symbol. Set the input "Server time minus New York time" once for your broker. The default 7 fits brokers that run on GMT+2 in winter and GMT+3 in summer.
This is a cost-sensitive scalper. Use a raw spread account with low commission, and a VPS close to your broker if you can. Run your own test in the Strategy Tester with "Every tick based on real ticks" and your broker's commission, and then use a demo account before going live.
About the screenshots
The results in the screenshots come from a historical simulation on EURUSD with the same rules as the EA, including spread, commission and slippage. The chart screenshot is recreated from the panel code and trades of the simulation; it is not a live account. Past results do not guarantee future results, and no EA can guarantee profits.
