WeaveLock is a fully automated dual-directional grid trading system engineered specifically for the volatility profile of XAUUSD (Gold). It combines a self-expanding two-sided grid, independent basket-level profit management, and a swing-triggered hedge layer into a single cohesive risk engine — designed for traders who want systematic exposure to Gold's range and swing behavior without manual position babysitting.
Unlike simple martingale grids that blow up on trend extension, WeaveLock treats BUY and SELL exposure as two separate, independently-managed "baskets" that are woven together (hence the name) — each with its own average price, its own floating P/L, and its own exit logic — while a hedge layer stands ready to armor the losing side the moment price swings hard against it.
Core Engine: The Two-Sided Grid
WeaveLock builds a virtual grid centered on the price at initialization, spacing BUY levels below and SELL levels above at a configurable step. As price dips, it accumulates a BUY basket ("buying the dip"); as price rallies, it builds a SELL basket ("selling the rally"). This means the EA is always working — profiting from oscillation rather than requiring a directional prediction. The grid range auto-recenters as price drifts, keeping the system relevant to current market structure instead of going stale after a big move.
Basket-Level Profit Management
Rather than closing trades one at a time, WeaveLock tracks the BUY basket and SELL basket as two independent ledgers — average entry price, total volume, and live floating profit — and closes each basket as a single unit once it reaches your defined USD profit target. A combined-basket exit mode is also available, allowing the system to net BUY and SELL floating profit together and close both sides at once when the combined total clears target, which is especially useful for harvesting profit during choppy, mean-reverting conditions.
Swing Hedge Protection
This is what separates WeaveLock from a bare grid EA. When price swings a defined percentage away from the grid's mean and the losing-side basket's floating loss crosses your threshold, WeaveLock automatically opens a protective hedge position sized off the losing basket's exposure. This caps directional bleed during strong trend extensions without immediately closing the losing basket at a loss — buying time for mean reversion while limiting further damage. Hedge arming resets automatically once price returns inside the swing band, keeping the system reactive rather than "stuck" in a hedge state.
Built for Netting & Hedging Accounts
WeaveLock uses internal virtual basket ledgers rather than relying on the broker to track multiple simultaneous positions — meaning it works correctly on netting accounts (where only one net position per symbol is possible) as well as traditional hedging accounts. Per-trade take-profit is simulated internally via fill-level tracking, so each grid entry is still managed toward its own target even when the account itself only shows one net position.

A live dashboard displays grid mean, range boundaries, open position count against your configured cap, and full basket-level breakdown — lots, average price, and floating P/L for both BUY and SELL baskets, plus total combined P/L against your profit target — all in a clean, dark-themed panel so you can monitor the system's state at a glance without digging through the terminal.
