Sentinelle SR — structural alerts for the discretionary trader
Sentinelle SR is an alert indicator, not a robot. It places no orders: it watches market structure and warns you — mobile push, alert window, on-chart panel and CSV log — as soon as a tradable event forms. The final decision stays yours.
Designed and field-tested on XAUUSD M30. Runs on M15, M30 and H1.
What it watches
- Locked support and resistance on the current and higher timeframe, with a consistency guard (a level can never drift onto price or invert)
- Gann 8/8 grid with target levels beyond 8/8
- Volume Profile: POC, Value Area (VAH / VAL), Low Volume Nodes (LVN)
- Bollinger Bands, EMA 9 / 21 / 50, RSI, ATR
- M1 → D1 timeframe ladder: lets you watch a reversal climb the timeframes before it reaches yours
Alert channels
Each answers a different question, and says so in its message:

Self-adaptation
The indicator measures its own results. Every alert sent is tracked to its target, its stop or its expiry, and feeds a rolling average computed separately per channel and per direction (buy and sell are never merged — a channel can be reliable long and poor short).
These learned weights drive the synthesis vote and are printed in the alerts themselves. A channel that degrades loses weight on its own, with no intervention. None is ever silenced: you stay informed, only the weight changes.
Learning is stored per symbol and per timeframe, and survives recompiles and terminal restarts.
The panel
A large, readable verdict, three gauges (directional bias, RSI, trend strength), the full timeframe ladder, pending order levels with their full numeric plan, support/resistance from two timeframes, and the buy/sell zones.
Two modes
- Fishing — every structural event is surfaced, you filter
- Sniper — the caution filters are active
The active mode is shown permanently on the panel.
CSV log
Every alert and every suppression is written to MQL4/Files with price, SL, TP, R/R, suggested lot and full context (regime, extension, position within the bands, RSI slope, timeframe alignment). This lets you measure the tool's real behaviour on your own instrument instead of estimating it.
Setup
- Supported timeframes: M15, M30 and H1 only (a warning is displayed elsewhere)
- Mobile push: set your MetaQuotes ID under Tools → Options → Notifications
- ATR_Min_Signal should be adjusted per instrument (0 = disabled)
- Notification and panel language: French / English
What this product is not
It is not a trading robot: an MQL4 indicator cannot place orders. No performance is promised or guaranteed. Alerts are events to evaluate, not orders to follow. Pending order levels are proposals to be placed manually.
