Hello,
thank you for your quick response, i understand that and also completed all the steps. In the beginning tho, when i first tried to configure a kind of "default" template that i can use with the same panel ID when opening positions across all my assets in my watchlists, it actually worked. I was able to enter orders with the same default template whenever creating a new chart window for a different asset independent of each other, which was exaclty what i need.
Then after i did a couple more changes to my own "default" TradePanel, suddenly it stopped working. I only need the TradePanel to open my positions, not for anything more complicated than that. Is there somehow any possibilty to kind of have a default trade panel with certain settings, that i can throw up on any chart window i just opened to place my order on a specific asset (over 100 in total) without having to manually configure the same settings everytime i open a position and with all kinds of different panel IDs?
I trade 100+ symbols and open and close chart windows frequently. And as i said, in the very beginning, it actually worked perfectly when i first created and saved my updated /changed template. Only after i then went and made additional changes in the aftermath, everything got out of control. So i think there must be a possibility for it to work flawlessly again the way it did in the beginning.
Do you understand exactly what i mean? Any kind of queries and help from your side is greatly appreciated.
All the best,
Ben Niemann
1) install the panel on the chart, set the input parameter "Trade Panel ID" = 1.
2) configure this panel.
3) if you use a template, then save it in the template using the input parameter "Trade Panel ID" = 1.
Next, when using:
When you launch a panel with "Trade Panel ID" = 1, it will have the settings that you applied to the panel "Trade Panel ID" = 1.
If you change the settings for the panel "Trade Panel ID" = 1, then these changes will be applied only to the panel that has "Trade Panel ID" = 1.
IMPORTANT!
Only one panel with the input parameter "Trade Panel ID" = 1 can work on the terminal at a time. If you launch two or more panels at the same time, then set different "Trade Panel IDs" for them. For example, set the second panel to "Trade Panel ID" = 2, the third to "Trade Panel ID" = 3.
If you launch several panels at the same time on the terminal using the same template, then you must understand that in the template you have a panel "Trade Panel ID" = 1., and you launch several panels with "Trade Panel ID" = 1, which is not allowed.

Hello,
thank you so much for the great product and your service. I now understand what the problem was thanks to your help. I can now configure as many templates with different settings and save them as i would like to.
Wish you all the best. This tool will have a massive positive impact on my execution process (at least in the near future).
All the best,
Ben Niemann

Yes, that's right, you can create, for example, a separate template for each symbol, with unique "Trade Panel ID".
If you have any new questions, write, I'll try to help.
Hello,
Hello, I didn't understand your question.
Hello,
Spreads should be low. This is showing 14 instead of 1.4. Also, it doesn’t set the SL and profit levels correctly. It sets both very far from what I intended.

Here is part of the list. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. Just not sure what. This is for the one minute. If I change time frames, the spread stays the same.
Spread is the difference between the Ask and Bid prices, measured in points.
Point is the smallest possible price change on a symbol. The panel does not normalize points in any way (does not multiply them by 10, etc.) and applies points as is:
If the quote is five-digit (0.00000): 1 point = 0.00001.
If the quote is four-digit (0.0000): 1 point = 0.0001.
If the quote is three-digit (0.000): 1 point = 0.001.
If the quote is two-digit (0.00): 1 point = 0.01.
Point is an integer - it cannot be fractional, there is no point in expressing it in fractional form.
This is written in the instructions:

How to automatically add the spread to the Stop Loss placement? When I place the SL line at a certain level, I wante the line to shift according to the current spread when I enter the trade so it automatically included.

Thank you. I tried it out and it does not work for me. I have tried different multipliers for the SL + Spread, but it is never added. What could I be doing wrong?
Hello, I checked, this function works. I used coefficient 1:
I recommend you look at the instructions, and make sure that this function works exactly as you expect. I gave a link to the instructions above.
Hello Alfiya
I prefer to keep the trade panel in one particular place on my chart, without moving it. When I click on Line Sell or Line Buy button, then I see what is on the screenshot. As you see part of box with information entry/profit/stop loss is under trade panel box.
My question is: Is it possible to change the location of these boxes on the chart so that I can better read the full information before I open a trade?
Thanks in advance
Kind regards,
Marcin

Hello, yes, it is configurable here -

It still is not working for me. Maybe this feature is not available when you lock the SL? I trade opening the buy or sell lines and locking the SL below the swing point where I want the SL to stay fixed. This way my SL stays in the same place and only the entry line and the amount of lots changes, not the SL. When I lock the SL below a swing point and enter a buy, the spread is not added to my trade, but when I buy without locking the SL it seems to work.
In the picture you can see what I mean. I locked the SL at 785 points and I had a multiplier of 2 for the added spread. In message list it says the SL should be at 861, but it stayd at 785. I am guessing by lock the SL the spread is not added? Is there another way so that the SL stays fixed in the chart when I open the lines instead of moving up and down with each pip movement?
Thank you

Yes, this is most likely the reason. I will fix it in the next version. I will publish it approximately within a week.

Thank You very much. The trading panel is a work of Art, the best one of all the ones I've tried. You did an amazing job.
Thank you!
By the way, if you prefer to set stop loss and take profit strictly at certain prices when opening a position on lines, then uncheck this box:
If this box is checked, then stop loss will be measured in points from the current price, and accordingly the Stop Loss and Take Profit labels will move with each change in the current price.
If this box is unchecked, then stop loss and take profit will be measured in prices, and the stop loss and take profit labels will be at the same price, regardless of the movement of the current price. And accordingly, you will not need to use the fixation buttons on the labels.
Version 18.07
Added the Manage all "Magic Numbers" parameter
Before version 18.07, TradePanel managed all orders on the account if the Magic number parameter = -1.
In the new version, this limitation has been removed. Now you can set any magic number for TradePanel, and at the same time tell TradePanel to manage all orders on the account by enabling the Manage all "Magic Numbers" parameter.
Please note that this parameter is enabled by default. If your TradePanel should not manage all orders on the account (it should only manage its own orders), then disable this parameter.
Added the "Close Loss by Profit" function for the order grid
This function will allow you to get rid of an unprofitable position by covering it with profitable positions.
The function automatically checks the profit/loss of the order grid position and selects the most unprofitable position. Then, the function selects profitable positions, the profit of which compensates for the loss of the unprofitable position. If there is a profitable position in the order grid whose profit covers the loss of an unprofitable position, the function will close these positions.
For example, an unprofitable position with a loss of -$30 appeared in the order grid. Accordingly, the function will start searching for a position whose profit will be greater than or equal to $30. As soon as the function finds this position, it will close these positions, as a result of which the total profit from closing these positions will be equal to or greater than 0.
