GOLD BOOSTER — aggressive trend-rider for XAUUSD
A breakout EA built for momentum, not for hope. It waits for price to escape the trend EMA by a full ATR — a genuine thrust, not noise — and enters with the market in the direction of the move. One position at a time, ATR-based stops and targets, adaptive trailing. On top of the core logic sits a risk engine that reinvests after winning streaks and stands down after a losing day.
How it trades
- Signal. Price breaks away from EMA(20) by 0.3 ATR in either direction. ATR adapts stops, targets and the breakout threshold to current volatility — no fixed pip values.
- Entry. Market order with stop loss at 2×ATR and take profit at 4×ATR (1:2 ratio), both validated against the broker's minimum stop distance.
- Exit. ATR trailing stop follows the position from behind; every modification is checked against stops and freeze levels, so the server never sees an invalid request.
- Discipline. One position per symbol, a cooldown between trades, a spread filter, and a hard daily stop-out that blocks new entries after −15% on the day.
The risk engine
- Volume is sized so the stop equals a fixed percentage of balance (2% by default).
- After 3+ consecutive wins the risk is scaled up geometrically — the "boost" — with a hard cap.
- After losing streaks the risk stays flat: recovery-style doubling is available but off by default.
- Absolute ceilings: no trade risks more than 10% of balance, margin never exceeds 20% of equity, and the combined volume never exceeds the broker's symbol limit.
Built for real conditions
Checks margin before every order, normalizes volume to the symbol's step and limits, respects stops/freeze levels on both SL and TP, reads the broker's trading sessions (weekend gaps included), and verifies permissions on the terminal, the account and the EA itself. Every rejection reason can be logged for diagnostics.
