Test data: gold on IC Markets tick data; USDJPY and EURUSD on Dukascopy tick data imported into MetaTrader 5. Your broker's prices and spreads differ, so test on a demo account of your own broker.
How much capital
- Low (the default): 2,000 USD or more.
- Medium: 3,000 USD or more.
- High and Boost grow the lot faster: try them on demo first.
Before you trade, backtest the EA in the Strategy Tester with YOUR capital and YOUR risk level, and look at the drawdown you would have lived through. Then try it on a demo account of your own broker. Always start a real account on Low.
Requirements

Setting it up
Drag it onto a gold M30 chart (the timeframe of all our tests), keep the defaults, switch on Algo Trading — done. Make sure USDJPY and EURUSD are visible in Market Watch.
Licence and updates
A purchased licence receives every update free, however the price may change later.
Before you buy
Breakout trading has quiet months and losing months. The Gold Flash layer wins most baskets, and a losing basket costs more than a winning one makes.
