AI US30 Opening Range Trader
- Experts
- Versione: 1.2
Trade the first move of the cash session with a clear, time based opening range breakout.
How it works
At the session open time (server time, 16:30 by default) the EA measures the high and low of the opening range, 15 minutes by default, using M1 data.
After the range is complete the EA trades the breakout. You can choose a market entry when an M1 bar closes beyond the range, or Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders at the range edges.
The stop loss goes to the opposite side of the range, capped by an ATR multiple. The take profit is the range size multiplied by your factor.
A daily trade limit (one trade by default) keeps the strategy focused. At the session end time (22:45 by default) all positions and orders are closed to avoid holding trades overnight.
If the symbol has no data at the configured time, the EA can fall back to the first bars of the symbol's first session of the day.
