Envelope Rebound Trader - Envelope Band Rebound + RSI Extreme Confirmation
Envelope Rebound Trader is a fully automated Expert Advisor built around a mean-reversion strategy: it looks for price to rebound off the outer Envelope bands while RSI confirms an extreme (oversold or overbought) reading. This dual confirmation is designed to filter out weak or false rebounds and only act on stronger reversal signals.
The EA does not use grid, martingale, or any form of position averaging. It manages one trade at a time with a fixed lot size, ATR-based Stop Loss and Take Profit, and an optional ATR-based trailing stop with built-in safety checks.

Input Parameters
- Magic Number - unique identifier for trades opened by this EA
- Time Frame - timeframe used to evaluate signals (default H1)
- Max Spread (points) - maximum allowed spread for new trades
- Envelope Period - moving average period used for the Envelope bands (default 20)
- Envelope Deviation (%) - percentage deviation of the bands from the moving average (default 0.1)
- RSI Period - period used for the RSI indicator (default 14)
- RSI Oversold Level - RSI threshold confirming a bullish rebound (default 50)
- RSI Overbought Level - RSI threshold confirming a bearish rebound (default 50)
- ATR Period - period used to calculate the ATR for Stop Loss / Take Profit / trailing
- Stop Loss (ATR multiplier) - Stop Loss distance as a multiple of ATR (default 1.5)
- Take Profit (ATR multiplier) - Take Profit distance as a multiple of ATR (default 2.0)
- Lot Size - fixed trade volume
- Use Trailing Stop - enable or disable the ATR-based trailing stop
- Trailing Start (ATR multiplier) - profit distance (in ATR) before trailing begins
- Trailing Step (ATR multiplier) - step size (in ATR) for trailing stop updates
Recommendations
Envelope Rebound Trader works on any symbol and timeframe, but is best suited to ranging or moderately trending markets where price regularly tests and rebounds from statistical extremes (Forex majors, Gold, and major indices are good starting points).
