Master Ice — Algorithmic Forex Expert Advisor for MT4

Master Ice is a fully automated Forex Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 4, designed for systematic market analysis, automated trade execution, and dynamic position management.

The EA combines a configurable signal engine with money management, spread and volatility filters, pending-order management, basket trailing, and trading-series controls.

How Master Ice Works

Master Ice continuously analyzes market data using its Primary and Secondary Signal Engine.

The signal engine evaluates price behavior using configurable periods, deviations, channel widths, polynomial parameters, extremum analysis, and step adjustment.

When the configured conditions are met, the EA can initiate a trading operation. After entry, Master Ice continues monitoring the position and applies the selected Stop Loss, Take Profit, pending-order management, basket management, and series-control rules.

The general workflow is:

Market Analysis → Signal Detection → Entry → Position Management → Series Control → Exit

Main Settings

AdaptivePoints — enables adaptive point calculation.

MaxTradesInSeries — maximum number of trades allowed within one trading series.

Money Management

AutoLotEnabled — enables automatic position sizing.

RiskPerTrade — risk parameter used by the automatic lot calculation.

StartLot — starting/fixed lot size when automatic lot calculation is disabled.

DrawdownLimit — configured drawdown protection threshold.

Spread Filter

UseMaxSpread — enables the maximum spread filter.

DynamicSpreadCheck — enables dynamic spread validation.

SpreadLimit — maximum allowed spread in points.

The spread filter can prevent new entries when market execution conditions do not meet the configured requirements.

Stop Loss / Take Profit

StopLossPoints — Stop Loss distance in points.

TakeProfitPoints — Take Profit distance in points.

These settings define the basic protective and target levels for individual trades.

Pending Order Management

PendingTrailEnabled — enables pending-order trailing.

PendingEntryOffset — distance used for the initial pending entry.

PendingTrailDistance — trailing distance used for pending-order management.

This module allows pending entries to be adjusted according to changing market conditions.

Basket Management

Master Ice can manage several positions as a trading basket.

BasketTrailEnabled — enables basket-level trailing.

BasketTrailStart — threshold at which basket trailing becomes active.

BasketTrailStep — trailing step used after activation.

Basket management allows the EA to monitor the combined result of related positions rather than managing every position independently.

Volatility Filter

UseVolatilityRange — enables volatility filtering.

MinVolatility — minimum permitted volatility.

MaxVolatility — maximum permitted volatility.

These parameters define the market-volatility range in which the EA can operate.

Signal Settings

The Signal Engine is the core analytical component of Master Ice.

SecondaryPeriod — calculation period of the secondary analytical component.

PrimaryDeviation — deviation parameter of the primary signal component.

SecondaryDeviation — deviation parameter of the secondary signal component.

PrimaryChannelWidth — width of the primary analytical channel.

PrimaryPolyDegree — polynomial degree used by the primary analytical model.

ExtremumLookback — historical lookback used for extremum analysis.

StepAdjustment — adjustment step used by the signal engine.

SecondaryChannelWidth — width of the secondary analytical channel.

These parameters provide detailed control over the sensitivity and behavior of the signal engine.

Series Protection

SeriesGuardLevel — additional protection level for extended trading series, when the Series Protection module is available.

It provides additional control when a trading sequence becomes prolonged.

TradeMagic — unique Magic Number used to identify Master Ice trades.

Default: 48215

This allows the EA to distinguish its positions from manual trades and other Expert Advisors.
