A rare USDSEK trade built around Swedish tax prefunding dates.
SekTaxPrefund is a calendar-driven MT5 Expert Advisor. It looks for a temporary SEK-demand effect before selected Swedish tax-account due dates, trades USDSEK short on a fixed Stockholm timetable and exits by the associated due-date morning.
Who it is for
For traders who value a specific economic calendar hypothesis and can accept very low frequency. The historical sample is intentionally small and is disclosed as such.
How it works
- Calculate eligible Swedish tax dates and business-day adjustments internally.
- On the prior business day, build the completed M30 structure from 08:00.
- At 14:00 Stockholm, enter USDSEK short when execution guards pass.
- The published 1.11 default uses InpTargetMode=SEK_EXIT_TIME_ONLY : the structural stop + 0.10 ATR and 10:00 due-date exit remain active, while InpTargetRewardRisk=1.50 alone does not activate a take-profit. The historical evidence below used the preset InpTargetMode=SEK_EXIT_R_TARGET with InpTargetRewardRisk=1.50 .
Historical Strategy Tester evidence
The historical reference is native MT5 Strategy Tester simulation using the scientific source/SET, MetaQuotes-Demo, model 1, virtual USD 10,000 and 1.00% risk.
| Window | Period | Net result | Trades | Profit factor | Max balance DD |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| In-sample | 2020-01-01 to 2024-12-31 | USD +267.69 | 16 | 1.39 | 2.95% |
| Out-of-sample | 2025-01-01 to 2026-10-03 | USD +66.92 | 11 | 1.11 | 1.96% |
Sample size is a primary limitation. IS had no completed trades in 2020 or 2021; 2024 was USD -189.94. OOS had one trade in 2025 at USD -97.89 and ten trades in 2026 through October 3 at USD +164.81.
All displayed history used 1.00% risk. The interface accepts 0.10%–10.00%, including 5% and 10%, but those higher levels were not measured in the historical evidence.
Costs and execution limits
Separate commission, swap and fee totals are not exposed by the reconciled reference metrics. USDSEK spread, swap, contract size, tick value, margin, sessions and symbol naming can differ materially across brokers.
The historical reference belongs to USDSEK M30. A different host can change callback timing even when the strategy still reads USDSEK M30, so exact execution sequence or P&L is not promised.

FAQ
Why so few trades?
The strategy only acts around selected tax-account funding dates. Low frequency is part of the design, not a missing-data claim.
What is the historical sample?
16 IS trades and 11 OOS trades. The sample limitation is material and should be part of your decision.
Does it download a calendar?
No. The tax-date, business-day and Swedish-holiday rules are calculated internally.
Does 1.50R activate the target by itself?
No. In published version 1.11, the default is InpTargetMode=SEK_EXIT_TIME_ONLY . To reproduce the displayed scientific evidence, set both InpTargetMode=SEK_EXIT_R_TARGET and InpTargetRewardRisk=1.50 .
Is 5–10% risk validated?
No. Those settings are accepted by the interface, but the displayed history used 1.00%.
Can I use another symbol?
The evidence and product proposition are for USDSEK. No performance claim is made for another market.
Before renting
Use the Market demo and Strategy Tester with your broker first. Check the exact symbol, spread, contract specification, sessions and order sizing before starting the one-month rental.
