Bubis Gravity is a mean-reversion Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. One instance trades a basket of forex pairs, entering when price touches a Bollinger Band and the H1 market is ranging or quiet, and closing back toward the mean. The default setfile ships with Grid Recovery enabled and requires a hedging account.
Entry. It looks for a touch of the outer Bollinger Band and a close back inside, with enough distance left to the mean. It skips channels that are too narrow or too wide, and it stops repeating a side after too many consecutive touches of the same band. The entry is confirmed on the next candle, in the direction of the move back. The target is the middle band. The price stop, set in ATR multiples, can be turned on or off.
When it stays out. On H1 it only allows a ranging or quiet regime. If ADX, EMA slope, or relative ATR show a trend or high volatility, it does not open. It also blocks on spread, outside the session, through rollover, late on Friday, and around high-impact news from the MetaTrader 5 calendar.
Basket. All 13 pairs are switched on individually: EURGBP, EURCHF, AUDNZD, EURUSD, AUDCAD, NZDCAD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, EURAUD, GBPCAD, EURJPY, EURNZD, and NZDCHF. Each has its own direction, bands, spread, and risk profile. USDJPY and EURJPY start as buy only. Symbol names are resolved with the broker prefix or suffix. Extra symbols can be added in a list.
Account risk. Lot size can be fixed or a percentage of equity. There is a cap on concurrent baskets, exposure per currency, aggregate risk, and total lots. A daily loss pauses new entries until the next server day. A total drawdown pauses them too, and that pause survives a restart until you reset it. These pauses do not close positions that are already open.
Grid Recovery. Enabled in the default setfile. The account must be hedging: on a netting account the EA will not start with the grid on. If price moves away from the entry, it adds levels at an ATR distance that widens at each level. Each new level adds a fixed amount to the previous lot. It can be turned off.
Start on a demo hedging account with the default setfile. Past results do not predict future results.
