Follow trend direction with a clear, adaptive line directly on your price chart.
QCL Bollinger Trend Trail combines trend detection with integrated volatility filtering to display a trailing reference line. Its two-color presentation helps you identify rising, falling, and unchanged trend conditions without adding a separate indicator window.
The line advances as the trend develops and holds its position when conditions do not support further movement.

Reading the Indicator
An advancing blue trail indicates upward movement in the reference line. A declining red trail indicates downward movement.
When the line remains flat, its previous direction is preserved. A color change reflects a change in the line’s direction; it is not an automatic entry or exit instruction.
The current candle updates as prices change, so its line position and color can change before the candle closes.

Appearance
Customize line colors from the Colors tab.
In the MetaTrader 4 version, use matching colors for rows 0 and 2 for upward sections, and rows 1 and 3 for downward sections.
Intended Use
QCL Bollinger Trend Trail supports discretionary trend analysis and can complement your existing market structure, entry confirmation, and risk management process.
It is an analytical indicator. It does not place trades or guarantee trading results.
