Quantera Hedge Fund — Correlation Basket EA (XAUUSD/XAGUSD)
Quantera Hedge Fund is a correlation-based basket Expert Advisor that trades Gold (XAUUSD) and Silver (XAGUSD) together as a single hedged unit. Instead of trading one instrument in isolation, the EA opens a two-leg basket built around the natural price relationship between Gold and Silver, triggered by a proprietary internal signal, then manages the whole basket until a profit target or risk limit is reached.
How it works
- Continuously monitors market conditions using a built-in proprietary algorithm
- When a valid signal occurs, opens a hedged basket: one leg on Gold, one leg on Silver (direction determined automatically by the algorithm)
- Duplicate/repeated signals in the same condition are filtered out to avoid over-trading
- Closes the entire basket automatically once combined floating profit reaches your target
- Built-in equity protection: if floating loss on the basket reaches a user-defined percentage of starting capital, the EA closes all positions and disables itself for that chart session

- Configurable symbol names for Gold and Silver (supports broker-specific suffixes, e.g. XAUUSD.sc , XAUUSD.m , GOLD — simply type your broker's exact symbol name in the input)

Risk management
This EA does not use a fixed stop loss on individual orders; instead, basket-level exposure is controlled through the profit target and the equity-based kill-switch. Please backtest and forward-test on a demo account first, and use position sizing appropriate to your account balance. Past performance and backtest results do not guarantee future results.
Requirements
- Broker must offer both XAUUSD and XAGUSD (or equivalent symbols) with correlated pricing
- If your broker uses a symbol suffix/prefix (e.g. .sc , .m , -ECN ), simply enter the full symbol name exactly as it appears in your Market Watch in the symbol input fields
- Recommended to run on VPS for uninterrupted 24/5 monitoring
