OOPS Day Trading is a multi-symbol Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 designed around a combination of OOPS price-action setups and Order Block confirmation.
The EA monitors symbols available in Market Watch and searches for trading opportunities around the previous daily High and Low. An automatic position is opened only when the OOPS conditions are confirmed by a corresponding Order Block.
The objective is to combine structured entry conditions with automated risk management, ATR-based protection and an interactive multi-symbol trading dashboard.
OOPS + ORDER BLOCK ENTRY LOGIC
OOPS Day Trading does not rely on a single signal for automatic entries.
For an automatic BUY, the EA requires an OOPS bullish condition together with confirmation from a valid Bullish Order Block.
For an automatic SELL, the EA requires an OOPS bearish condition together with confirmation from a valid Bearish Order Block.
Therefore:
- OOPS BUY + Bullish Order Block → BUY opportunity
- OOPS SELL + Bearish Order Block → SELL opportunity
- OOPS signal without the corresponding Order Block → no automatic entry
- Order Block without the corresponding OOPS setup → no automatic entry
This confirmation mechanism is designed to make automatic entries more selective.
MULTI-SYMBOL TRADING
The EA can monitor multiple instruments directly from a single chart.
Symbols are obtained from MetaTrader 5 Market Watch, allowing the trader to organize the instruments that should be monitored without having to attach a separate EA to every chart.
The dashboard provides a centralized view of the monitored symbols and their current trading status.
ATR-BASED RISK MANAGEMENT
OOPS Day Trading uses the Average True Range (ATR) to adapt its protective levels to current market volatility.
ATR can be used for:
Stop Loss calculation
The initial Stop Loss can be calculated according to market volatility instead of using the same fixed distance on every instrument.
Take Profit calculation
The Take Profit distance is derived from the configured ATR/risk parameters.
Trailing protection
The EA includes dynamic trailing management designed to follow favorable price movements.
Because volatility differs significantly between Forex pairs, metals, indices and other instruments, ATR-based calculations provide a more adaptive approach than a single fixed distance.
VIRTUAL BREAK-EVEN & TRAILING MANAGEMENT
Version 1.51 introduces a revised protection architecture.
The initial Stop Loss and Take Profit remain broker-side, providing protection after the position is opened.
Dynamic BreakEven and trailing management are then handled internally by the EA. This avoids unnecessary repeated SL modification requests when a broker's stop or freeze restrictions prevent a modification close to the current market price.
The system can progressively protect a favorable position according to the configured BreakEven and trailing parameters.
Important: virtual BreakEven and trailing management require the EA and MetaTrader 5 terminal to remain running. The initial broker-side SL/TP remain active independently.
MONEY MANAGEMENT
Two position-sizing methods are available.
Risk Percentage Mode automatically calculates the trading volume according to the selected risk percentage and Stop Loss distance.
Fixed Lot Mode allows the trader to specify a fixed trading volume.
This gives the user the choice between dynamic risk-based sizing and traditional fixed-volume trading.
INTERACTIVE TRADING DASHBOARD
OOPS Day Trading includes a professional dashboard designed to centralize information and trading controls.
The interface provides access to multi-symbol monitoring, trading status, automatic trading controls and manual order functions without requiring multiple charts.
The dashboard was designed to make the EA practical for both automated monitoring and trader supervision.
AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL TRADING
The EA combines automated strategy execution with manual controls.
Automatic mode manages entries according to the OOPS + Order Block strategy.
The dashboard also provides manual Buy Stop and Sell Stop functionality, allowing the trader to place pending orders directly from the interface when desired.
Manual pending orders are separate from the automatic OOPS + Order Block entry logic.
