WTI Crude Oil

WTI Crude Oil is an automated Expert Advisor developed specifically for trading West Texas Intermediate crude oil on MetaTrader 5.

The system combines structured price zones, market-direction analysis and basket-based position management. It is designed to manage both BUY and SELL positions while controlling when new exposure may be added.

The internal entry calculations are fully automated. Users do not need to install additional indicators, connect external services or perform manual analysis.

How the System Works

WTI Crude Oil monitors the market continuously and creates a structured set of trading levels around the current trading cycle.

New positions are considered only when price reaches a valid level and passes the internal market-direction conditions. The exact calculation method is built into the Expert Advisor and is not displayed on the chart.

The EA does not continuously open positions at every market movement. New exposure is controlled by price levels, active zones, direction filters, position limits and available margin.

When price moves back through the grid, the system can reduce profitable positions individually. Normal grid reduction does not intentionally close a losing position.

The complete basket is managed using an equity-based percentage target. When the basket target is reached, the EA closes the managed positions and starts a new trading cycle using the updated account balance.

Trading Price Zone

The default entry area is configured between USD 45 and USD 90.

The price-zone restriction applies to opening new positions. If WTI moves outside the configured area, the EA stops adding new exposure.

Existing positions can still be managed and closed outside the entry zone. This allows the system to continue reducing positions or completing a basket without creating additional trades beyond the permitted price range.

Dashboard

The integrated dashboard displays the information required to monitor the system without revealing the internal entry algorithm.

Displayed information includes:

The dashboard also shows whether new entries are currently available or locked by the configured trading zone.

Restart Recovery

The EA stores important cycle information while operating on a live terminal.

If MetaTrader 5 or a VPS is restarted while positions are open, the EA can restore its basket snapshot, grid anchors, active zones and management state. This helps the system continue managing its own positions from the previous cycle.

For correct recovery, keep the same symbol, account and Magic Number after restarting the EA.

Broker symbol names may include USOIL, WTI, XTIUSD, USOUSD or another broker-specific suffix. Attach the EA directly to the WTI chart offered by your broker.

Before live trading, confirm the symbol contract size, minimum volume, volume step, margin requirements, swap and trading sessions. These conditions can differ significantly between brokers.

Important Information

WTI Crude Oil uses grid and hedging position management. Grid systems can maintain multiple open positions and may experience floating drawdown during extended directional market movement.

The EA does not guarantee profit or protection from loss. Historical testing cannot predict future trading performance.

Results can vary because of broker contract specifications, spread, commission, swap, slippage, execution speed, price history and market conditions.

Use a Hedging account. Test the EA with your broker’s WTI symbol in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester and on a demo account before using real funds.

Do not change the symbol, Magic Number, lot settings or grid parameters while an active basket is open. Always select a position size suitable for your account balance and acceptable level of risk.
