Drag the stop line to where your stop belongs, and the panel tells you the exact lot that puts your chosen risk on that stop. Press BUY or SELL and it opens at that lot with the stop and the target already attached. After you are in, the same panel moves the stop to break even, trails it behind price, or closes part of the position.
The lot is calculated from the broker's own profit model rather than an assumed pip value, so it is correct on currencies, metals, indices and crosses without a per symbol setting. The volume is floored to your broker's volume step and clamped to its minimum and maximum, which is the specific reason panels report "invalid volume" on accounts with a 0.001 step.
What it does:
- Lot size from a risk percent of balance or from a fixed amount of money
- A stop line and a target line you drag on the chart, with the reward to risk shown live
- One press entry with the stop and the target already attached
- Required margin shown before you commit, and the order validated before it is sent
- Break even at a chosen number of R, with an offset so the move locks a small gain
- ATR trailing stop
- Partial close at a chosen percentage
- Close all, for the positions this panel is responsible for
- Total money currently at risk across your open positions, in your account currency
- Works on hedging and netting accounts, and reports which one it found
What it does NOT do:
- It does not decide when to trade. There is no signal, no entry logic and no alert. Every entry comes from you pressing a button.
- It will not open a position on its own. This is verified rather than asserted: it was run in the Strategy Tester over EURUSD H1 from 2024.06.01 to 2024.07.01 and opened 0 trades.
- It does not manage other robots' positions unless you switch that on. By default it touches only the positions carrying its own magic number, on the chart symbol.
- It does not place pending orders. Market entry only in version 1.00.
Verified before release:
- Compiles with 0 errors and 0 warnings.
- Ran through the Strategy Tester with no initialisation failure and no runtime fault.
- Opened 0 positions unattended over a one month window.
Requirements: MetaTrader 5, and Algo Trading enabled so the buttons can send orders. No DLL, no external process, no internet connection, no API key.
