🏔️ Trendrix — H4 Donchian Breakout with Pyramiding and a D1 Trend Filter

Built on the principles of the classic Turtle Trading system (with decades of live trading history using real money across various markets), it has been enhanced with our own refinements—it enters trades only in the direction of the primary trend (D1), which has significantly improved risk metrics compared to the first version.

A FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT PROFILE than typical scalpers:

- Lower Win Rate (usually 40–55%)—this is EXPECTED, not a sign of weakness

- Does not rely on a fragile high Win Rate—the edge is mathematically more stable

HOW IT WORKS:

- Entry: a breakout of a 20-bar H4 channel, ONLY in the direction of the D1 trend

(we filter out trades against the higher timeframe—most of them

turn out to be false signals)

- Stop: 2×ATR from the entry

- Pyramiding: add to the position as the trend continues (up to 6 units); stops for all

units are tightened with each addition—risk does not increase with the position

- Exit: breakout of the opposite channel over 15 bars—let profits run

until a real trend reversal occurs, without locking in profits early

BACKTEST (one year of history, 100% quality, various deposit sizes):

- $1,000: +432.4%, Profit Factor 4.56, max. drawdown 6.2%

- $2,000: +268.7%, Profit Factor 3.3, max. drawdown 14.5%

- $5,000: +372.2%, Profit Factor 3.78, max. drawdown 15.8%

These figures are consistent across different deposit sizes; they are not the result of a single successful
