MOTHER SUPERIOR
21 coordinated XAUUSD strategies in one Expert Advisor
Mother Superior is a multi-strategy, multi-timeframe portfolio EA for MetaTrader 5. It operates up to 21 independent strategy modules from a single XAUUSD chart.
Each module has its own:
- Entry logic
- Stop-loss logic
- TP1, TP2 and TP3 structure
- Break-even management
- Trailing-stop logic
- Trading session
- Market-regime filter
- Target timeframe
The strategy geometry remains protected inside the EA. Users can control the allocation and risk of every module without accidentally changing its internal trade-management structure.
Factory default configuration
The factory default is the 1K Fixed 0.01 Lot profile:
- All 21 public strategies enabled
- Fixed 0.01 lot per strategy
- No equity scaling
- Maximum 0.01 lot per new trade
- Maximum 21 simultaneous strategies
- Emergency aggregate ceiling: 0.21 lot
- Information panel enabled
Users can load another preset or edit the individual strategy allocations before enabling trading.

Independent trade management
Mother Superior does not apply one global exit template to all strategies.
Every strategy follows its own internal management path. Depending on the module and executable position volume, this can include:
- Initial protective stop
- TP1 partial target
- TP2 partial target
- TP3 final target
- Break-even activation
- Trailing-stop management
- Session-based management
- Regime-dependent management
The internal SL and target distances are not fixed cash-profit values. They are based on each module’s native price-distance or volatility logic.
Changing the lot size therefore changes the monetary exposure while preserving the module’s price geometry.
Small-volume target handling
The exit engine automatically adapts to the broker’s minimum volume and lot step.
0.01 lot
The position remains managed through break-even and trailing logic, followed by a final target exit.
0.02 lot
The EA can use two valid 0.01-lot target portions.
0.03 lot and above
The complete TP1, TP2 and TP3 distribution can be represented when permitted by the broker’s volume step.
This prevents invalid partial-close requests on small accounts.
Position-sizing modes
Fixed Lot
Uses the configured fixed lot of each enabled strategy.
Fixed-lot sizing does not increase automatically with account equity.
Risk Percent
Calculates the volume from:
- Strategy risk percentage
- Account equity
- Module stop distance
- Symbol contract specification
- Broker volume rules
The resulting lot remains subject to the configured portfolio limits.
Equity Step
Scales each strategy’s configured base allocation when account equity reaches defined steps.
Equity-step sizing can increase exposure rapidly. It should only be used with explicit per-trade, aggregate-lot and margin-level limits.
Portfolio and account controls
Mother Superior includes configurable controls for personal and evaluation-style accounts:
- Maximum open strategies
- Maximum aggregate lots
- Maximum lot per trade
- Minimum projected margin level
- Spread filter
- Maximum execution deviation
- Daily-loss thresholds
- Total-loss thresholds
- Optional profit lock
- Optional global trading schedule
- Monday delayed start
- Friday entry stop
- Optional Friday position close
- Master entry switch
These controls are protective tools. They do not guarantee compliance with any broker or proprietary-trading firm.
Account rules, reset times, leverage, commissions, spreads, slippage, contract specifications and server-time boundaries can differ between providers.
Always verify the current rules of the actual account.
Magic numbers and trade comments
The EA uses a configurable base magic-number namespace. Each strategy automatically receives its own strategy identifier.
Default order-comment examples:
- MotherSuperior S01 BUY
- MotherSuperior S01 SELL
- MotherSuperior S21 BUY
- MotherSuperior S21 SELL
The comments contain the public strategy number and trade direction while remaining within the common 31-character broker limit.
On-chart portfolio dashboard
The information panel displays:
- Active account profile
- Position-sizing mode
- Balance
- Equity
- Daily profit or loss
- Floating profit or loss
- Current drawdown
- Peak drawdown
- Open positions
- Current aggregate lots
- Active strategies
- Maximum strategy limit
- Maximum aggregate-lot limit
- Blocked-entry count
- Current spread
- Margin information
- Master entry-switch status
- EA identity and magic-number information
The panel can be minimized or repositioned through the public inputs.
Installation
- Attach Mother Superior to one XAUUSD chart.
- Enable algorithmic trading in MetaTrader 5.
- Select the required sizing mode.
- Review every lot, risk and portfolio-limit input.
- Confirm the broker’s XAUUSD symbol name.
- Check contract size, minimum lot, lot step, stop level, spread and margin requirements.
- Use a unique base magic number when running multiple instances.
- Test the exact broker, symbol and preset in the Strategy Tester before demo or live use.
The chart timeframe does not define every strategy’s signal timeframe. Each module requests its own internal timeframe data.
Allow sufficient price history to synchronize before evaluating signals.
Historical Strategy Tester examples
The screenshot gallery contains clearly labelled historical Strategy Tester results.
These are not live results, forecasts or guarantees.
Primary diagnostic protocol used for the displayed Darwinex examples:

Risk disclosure
Backtests can be affected by:
- Historical data quality
- Spread
- Commission
- Swap
- Slippage
- Execution delay
- Liquidity
- Broker specifications
- Modelling assumptions
Historical results do not guarantee future performance.
Leveraged XAUUSD trading can result in substantial loss, including loss of the full trading capital.
The displayed 2024-01-01 to 2026-07-22 period was used for research and diagnostics. It is not unseen market-ready proof.
Robust deployment requires:
- Broker-specific testing
- Rolling walk-forward analysis
- Parameter-stability testing
- Spread, slippage and execution-delay stress
- Monte Carlo analysis
- Later unseen demo or shadow-forward observation
Recommended first use
Begin in the Strategy Tester and then use a demo account.
Start with conservative allocation, verify the information-panel values and inspect the MetaTrader Journal for symbol, volume or execution errors.
Do not assume that a preset tested on one broker will produce identical results on another broker.
Mother Superior is a trading tool. It does not promise profit, a maximum future drawdown or acceptance by any trading program.
