CASCADE runs two engines on separate logic:
🔷 STS ENGINE (Structure Trend Scalper)
Captures momentum breakouts when
volatility expands. Rides the move,
exits clean.
🔷 BGT ENGINE (Basket Grid Trader)
Opens only during confirmed ranging phases.
Manages positions as a group and closes
the entire basket at a net profit target.
Both engines are protected by two
independent regime gates:
GATE 1 — σ/μ Volatility Ratio
Measures whether price is ranging or trending.
BGT is blocked entirely during trending conditions.
GATE 2 — CUSUM Structural Break Detector
Detects sudden regime shifts in real time.
Triggers a warning block before damage occurs.
Result: The system never fights a trend.
It simply waits for the market to come back
to its playing field.
