⚙️ Indicator Settings & Parameters Guide

--- V-PATTERN SETTINGS ---

• Scan Mode (Dual-Engine): Choose how the indicator analyzes the chart.

  • Current TF Only (Main TF): Scans only the timeframe currently open on your chart.

  • Lower TF Only: Automatically calculates and scans a lower timeframe (e.g., M30 if you are on H1) to find earlier entries and hidden micro-structures.

  • Scan BOTH (Dual-Engine): Runs both the main and lower timeframe algorithms simultaneously.

• Main Timeframe: The primary timeframe you are basing your analysis on.

• Force Index Threshold: The minimum required momentum score for a reversal to be considered valid. For example, 1.8 means the reversal leg must be at least 1.8 times faster/stronger than the preceding move. Increase this value to filter out weaker setups.

• Show Failed Patterns?: If set to true, the indicator will draw setups that had the correct structure but failed to meet your required Force Index Threshold. These will be drawn in darker/gray colors.

• Use FVG (Fair Value Gap) Multiplier?: If true, the algorithm checks the reversal leg for Fair Value Gaps. High FVG density acts as a multiplier, boosting the final momentum score of the pattern, as FVGs are strong signs of institutional displacement.

--- MICRO-STRUCTURE FILTERS ---

• Keep Only Strongest Overlapping Pattern: When multiple valid V-patterns form in the exact same time window, setting this to true will hide the weaker ones and display only the pattern with the absolute highest momentum score. Keeps your chart clean.

• Adaptive Statistical Volatility Filter: If true, the indicator dynamically calculates the background market volatility (using variance and standard deviation). It ensures that the reversal is statistically larger (+1 Sigma) than the average background noise, filtering out slow, flat consolidations.

--- COLOR SETTINGS ---

• Color_HLH_Pass / Fail (Main TF): Colors for successful and failed Bearish setups (High-Low-High) on your main timeframe.

• Color_LHL_Pass / Fail (Main TF): Colors for successful and failed Bullish setups (Low-High-Low) on your main timeframe.

• Lower TF Colors: Separate color settings for patterns detected by the lower timeframe engine. This helps you visually differentiate a Main TF setup from a Lower TF setup at a glance.

--- DAILY ATR MOMENTUM (IMBALANCE) SETTINGS ---

• Find moves > D1 ATR (Single Color Series): If true, the indicator detects consecutive, single-direction price pushes that exceed the entire Daily (D1) ATR. It draws a background rectangle to highlight these extreme liquidity runs.

• Enable Live Audio Alerts?: If true, plays an audio notification the exact moment a live imbalance run exceeds the D1 ATR threshold.

• Sound File for Imbalance Alert: The name of the audio file to play (e.g., alert.wav ). Note: The file must be located in your MT5 Sounds folder.

• Bullish / Bearish ATR Move Background Color: Customize the background highlight colors for the extreme ATR momentum runs.

--- OPTIMIZATION & PROTECTION ---

• History Bars to Check on Initial Load: Limits how far back the indicator scans when first attached to the chart (Default: 2880). Lower this number if you are running the indicator on very slow PCs or testing multiple pairs.

• Max Pattern Length (Candles): The maximum allowed distance (in candles) between the starting point of the impulse and the final reversal point.

• Text Size: Adjusts the font size of the momentum scores displayed above/below the patterns on your chart.
