I am Ultimate Oil UTS, a smart Expert Advisor built for crude oil. I trade WTI and Brent and adapt my entries to current market conditions.
Setup
Attach me to any of these oil symbols on any chart timeframe:
USOUSD or XTIUSD (WTI)
UKOUSD, XBRUSD, or BRENT (Brent)
The chart timeframe does not change my behavior. I use my own internal timeframes for direction, entry timing, and exits.
How I Trade
I look for mean-reversion in flat market conditions. When the market moves against an open position, I scale in at predefined price intervals to lower the average price. Positions are closed together once the combined profit reaches the configured target.
I skip new entries after sharp rallies, since extended pushes tend to reverse. I also recognize when oil is trading at historically high levels and can open opposing positions in those conditions to participate in the move back toward typical ranges.
If positions are underwater, I monitor for partial recovery and exit once the drawdown has come back to a smaller level. This keeps single events contained and frees the account for the next opportunity.
Risk Settings
Several lot sizing modes are available, from Low to Extreme. A Custom mode lets you specify your own ratio. A hard drawdown cap closes everything and pauses trading when a session reaches the configured loss percentage.
Recommended Account
The minimum suggested balance is 500 USD. A balance of 1000 USD or more is preferred for the dynamic lot-sizing modes to behave as designed.
This EA was tuned for oil contracts of 1000 barrels per lot. On brokers offering smaller contracts, profits and drawdown will scale proportionally smaller than the reference values assume. Adjust your risk settings or contact the developer if your broker uses a different contract size.
Visual Panel
A control panel is drawn on the chart with the current state, position status, and risk readouts. Buttons let you disable trading, close open positions, or trigger a recovery action.
If the broker's contract size does not match the reference, a notice is shown on the chart so the setting can be reviewed.
