Overview
QuantRex - Zero Risk Virtual to Live Trading EA is designed for traders who want to forward test, analyse, validate trading setups in live market conditions then commit real money with the same automation, convert losses into wins.
Don’t just trade the charts, consider trading your virtual Win/Loss outcomes, get to know at which Risk levels to commit your money.
The EA operates in two modes using the same core logic:
Virtual Mode (Risk = 0)
- Simulates trades without placing real orders
- Tracks setups, triggers, and outcomes in real time
- Draws visual markers and result boxes on the chart
- Logs all activity to CSV for detailed analysis
Live Trading Mode (Risk > 0)
- Places real pending orders based on the same setup logic
- Executes trades using predefined risk levels, lot sizes are automatically calculated
based on risk value.

- Continues logging all activity and data to CSV for detailed analysis and review

Risk Management
- User-defined risk level ladder (Risk1 to Risk20), lot sizes are automatically calculated
based on risk value.
- Each risk level is set manually by the trader
- EA automatically applies these predefined values during execution
- Virtual testing by setting Risk value to “0”
- Live Trading by setting Risk value to the desired value greater than “0”
How It Works
1. The EA identifies trade direction using candle-based midpoint logic
2. It creates pending trade setups (virtual or live)

Recommendation
Run the EA in virtual mode first to collect sufficient data and understand setup performance before live trading.
Inputs
- Risk1 to Risk20: Risk $/your currency value. Risk continues to the next level on losses and resets to Risk1 after a win, if risk is “0” value virtual trading continues, if risk is greater than “0” live trading continues. User to ensure risk value is entered at the different risk levels for live trading, enter ”0” if only virtual trading is required. Lot sizes are automatically calculated based on risk value.
- BSLookback: Candle used for entry, 1=last candle, 2=second last candle and so on
- ClookBack: Finds midpoint for the last (x) candles, trades only the direction of the last midpoint(trend), 1=last candle, 2=last candles and so on
- BuyEntryBufferPts: Buy Entry buffer points, Spread(Buy-Sell) + additional points
- SellEntryBufferPts: Sell Entry Buffer points
- BuySLBufferPts: Buy Stop Loss Buffer points
- SellSLBufferPts: Sell Stop Loss buffer points, Spread(Buy-Sell) + additional points
- User to ensure values are entered for BuyEntryBufferPts, SellEntryBufferPts, BuySLBufferPts, SellSLBufferPts based on their broker spreads to avoid orders been placed very far from the candle entry point
- SLLookbackCandles: Set Initial Stop loss to the lowest low for buy or highest high for sell, 1=last candle, 2= last 2 candles, 3=last 3 candles and so on
- SLUpdateLookback: Update Stop Loss after (x) candles to the lowest low for buy or highest high for sell
- TPRatio: Set take profit ratio related to stoploss, 1=1xSL, 2=2xSL and so on
- TradeStart1: Trading Window Start time
- TradeEnd1: Trading Window End Time
- TradeStart2: Trading Window Start time
- TradeEnd2: Trading Window End Time
- AllowVirtualPendingOutsideWindow: True allows virtual trades to continue outside the trading window. False does not allow virtual trades to continue outside the trading window but allows virtual trades inside the trading window if risk is set to “0”
