Orbitalis

Orbitalis is not a standard grid system. It is a new class of mean-reversion algorithm designed specifically for AUDCAD H1.

Most grid EAs fail for one reason: they blindly catch falling knives. They open buy orders simply because the price dropped 20 pips. If the market crashes, they hold massive drawdown.

Orbitalis changes this. It introduces Elasticity Tensor Logic, a proprietary calculation that measures the "tension" of a trend before entering. It treats price action like a rubber band. It does not trade just because price has moved; it trades only when the mathematical "snap back" force outweighs the trend momentum.

Elasticity Tensor Logic

Standard grids use "Distance" (Step). Orbitalis uses Viscosity & Tension.
1. Market Viscosity Filters The algorithm constantly samples the "density" of tick volume against price movement. When price drops rapidly through thin liquidity (low viscosity), Orbitalis pauses. It recognizes this as a "news spike" or "flash crash" and refuses to enter. It waits until the market hits a "high viscosity" zone (institutional order block) where price slows down.

2. Tensor Reversion Entry Instead of fixed steps, Orbitalis calculates the Tensor Value of the current wave.

- High Tensor: The rubber band is stretching dangerously. The EA waits.

- Tensor Release: The moment the tension peaks and begins to relax (the millisecond the snap-back begins), Orbitalis executes the grid sequence.

This results in a grid that often stays flat during dangerous rallies and only enters at the precise moment of exhaustion.


Setup Guide

Attach the EA to the AUDCAD chart and select your preferred risk settings. From that point on, Orbitalis operates fully automatically and manages all trading logic without requiring any additional configuration.

The system is designed to handle market state detection, execution, risk control, and trade management internally, allowing for a clean and straightforward setup.

Additionally, the built in news filter is integrated directly with the MT5 internal economic calendar, so there is no need to add any external URLs or data sources. Everything required for news filtering is handled natively within MT5.

Lot Size Inputs

  • Lot size method

    Selects how the trading volume is calculated.

    • Fixed lotsize: Uses the manual value entered in the "Fixed lotsize" field.

    • Mid/Extreme risk: Automatically calculates lots based on your account balance and the chosen risk profile.

  • Fixed lotsize

    The specific lot volume to trade if "Lot size method" is set to Fixed.

Order Inputs

  • Take profit

    The target profit in points for the trade or grid basket.

  • Stop loss

    The hard stop loss distance in points to protect the account from uncontrolled losses.

  • Grid diff

    The distance (in points) between each subsequent order in the grid sequence. This determines how "tight" or "wide" the grid spacing is.

  • Max orders

    The maximum number of trades the EA is allowed to open in a single sequence. Once this limit is reached, no new grid orders will be placed.

  • EAname

    A custom comment or label assigned to orders opened by this EA.

  • Magic number

    A unique identifier code. This ensures the EA only manages its own trades and ignores other strategies running on the same account.

  • Spread filter

    The maximum allowable spread (in points). If the current market spread exceeds this value, the EA will not open a trade to avoid poor execution costs.

  • Allow buy orders

    Toggles permission for the EA to open Long (Buy) positions.

  • Allow sell orders

    Toggles permission for the EA to open Short (Sell) positions.

News Filter

  • Disable low impact news

    If true, trading will pause during minor economic news events.

  • Disable mid impact news

    If true, trading will pause during medium-importance economic news events.

  • Disable high impact news

    If true, trading will pause during major economic news events (e.g., NFP, FOMC) to avoid volatility spikes.

  • Time before news in mins

    The number of minutes to stop opening new trades before a scheduled news event occurs.

  • Time after news in mins

    The number of minutes to wait after the news event has passed before resuming normal trading.
