Intuitive Trade Setup — Proactive Risk Management
One Trade Assistant is an Expert Advisor (EA) for the MetaTrader 5 platform, designed to help you prepare orders, calculate position sizes based on risk parameters, and manage open positions—all from a single control panel.
Instead of performing multiple disjointed actions, you can set your entry point, Stop Loss, and Take Profit directly on the chart. You can also preview your potential risk, expected profit, and risk-to-reward (RR) ratio before placing an order.
You make the trading decisions; One Trade Assistant handles the calculations and ensures your predefined risk management rules are applied.
Set Up Trades Directly on the Chart
One Trade Assistant provides drag-and-drop lines for Entry, Stop Loss, and Take Profit, making the trade preparation process highly intuitive.
Adjust price levels using your mouse or by entering values directly into the control panel.
Preview position size, the monetary value at risk, and projected profit.
Toggle the linking of Take Profit and Stop Loss levels based on a specific risk-to-reward (RR) ratio.
Supports Market Orders, Buy/Sell Limits, and Buy/Sell Stops.
Price lines are used for preparation and previewing; orders are only sent to the broker when you explicitly trigger the execution.
Calculate Position Size Based on Risk
The "Auto Lot" feature helps determine the appropriate position size based on your risk budget and the distance between your entry point and Stop Loss. As you adjust your entry or Stop Loss levels, the tool automatically updates the recommended position size.
Risk calculation options include:
A fixed monetary amount (in your account currency).
A percentage of your Balance.
A percentage of your Equity.
A percentage of your Free Margin.
A percentage of a custom value.
A percentage of your balance from the end of the previous day, week, or month. You can also disable "Auto Lot" to enter the lot size manually while continuing to monitor the estimated risk.
Planned Trade Management
Partial Position Closing
Set up multi-stage take-profit levels instead of closing the entire position at a single price. The portion to be closed is calculated based on the initial lot size, ensuring a consistent allocation plan across different exit milestones.
The "Partial Close + SL" mode combines partial position closing with the adjustment of the Stop Loss based on "R" levels—where 1R represents the initial risk unit of the trade.
