Overview

Shark Hunter Argon AI v4.0 is a structured multi-timeframe Expert Advisor designed specifically for XAUUSD (Gold) on MetaTrader 5. Rather than relying on lagging oscillators or unconstrained grid/martingale recovery sequences, the system evaluates price action through five objective structural pillars before executing a single, risk-defined position.

Every trade is entered with a physical Stop Loss and a 3-tier Take Profit framework (TP1, TP2, TP3), accompanied by an on-chart 3D Tri-Pod Cockpit HUD that visualizes all active structural levels in real time.

The 5-Pillar Quantitative Confluence Engine

Before any order is considered, the internal scoring engine evaluates five independent price-action and volume factors on the active chart and higher timeframes (W1, D1, H4, H1):

  1. Mother Bar Fibonacci Golden Pocket (0.50 – 0.65): Identifies institutional premium and discount retracement zones derived from the completed Weekly (W1) or H4 Mother Bar range.
  2. Wick-to-Wick Structural Trendline Rays & Apex Pinch: Automatically constructs three fractal trendline rays (Major Ray, Accelerated Ray, and Counter-Structure Ray) and detects high-compression Apex Pinch intersections.
  3. Fixed-Range Volume Profile (FRVP — POC / VAH / VAL): Computes a 24-bin tick-volume distribution across the structural lookback window to locate the Point of Control (POC) and the 70% Value Area boundaries.
  4. High-Volume Climax Absorption Anchor: Tracks record tick-volume absorption candles where directional exhaustion or institutional defense previously occurred.
  5. Liquidity Sweep & Multi-Timeframe Structure (H1 MSS / BOS & D1 EMA): Waits for a valid stop-run rejection wick (Liquidity Sweep) aligned with H1 Market Structure Shift (MSS / Break of Structure) and the Daily EMA trend filter.

A signal is only validated when the combined Confluence Score meets or exceeds the user-defined threshold ( InpMinConfluenceScore , default: 2/5) and passes higher-timeframe candle-close confirmation.

Two-Way Execution Playbooks

  • Playbook A (Trend Pullback Continuation): Executes in the direction of the macro trend when price pulls back into the Fibonacci Golden Pocket or Volume Profile support/resistance and prints a confirmed liquidity sweep.
  • Playbook B (Extreme Liquidity Sweep Reversal): Optional counter-setup triggered only at extreme Mother Bar boundaries when backed by an institutional POC volume wall or climax absorption.

Dual Take-Profit & Position Management Modes (InpTPStyleMode)

Users can switch between two distinct position-management styles depending on their trading horizon:

  • 1. TP_STYLE_INTRADAY_COMPOUND (Default — Intraday Impulse):
    Default Targets: SL 95 pips | TP1 +70 pips | TP2 +120 pips | TP3 +190 pips. Holds 100% of the position volume toward TP3 to maximize compounding efficiency on clean intraday impulses. Automatically moves Stop Loss to Breakeven (+commission buffer) at TP1, trails Stop Loss to lock in TP1 profit once price reaches TP2, and closes open intraday positions prior to the daily rollover window (23:45 Server Time).
  • 2. TP_STYLE_SWING_RUNNER (Multi-Day Structural Swing):
    Dynamically anchors Stop Loss outside the Fibonacci 0.65 structural boundary and projects TP3 (+350 pips minimum) toward the Higher-Timeframe Break of Structure (BOS) or Mother Bar extreme. Automatically banks 50% partial profit at TP1 (+90 to +115 pips), moves the remaining 50% runner to Breakeven, locks TP1 profit when price reaches TP2, and allows multi-day holding to capture extended macro waves.

  • Native Economic Calendar News Filter: Automatically queries the MetaTrader 5 Economic Calendar to pause new entries around High-Impact USD and symbol-related news releases.
  • Spread & Session Filters: Blocks execution during abnormal spread widening (default max: 3.5 pips) and low-liquidity rollover hours.
  • Flexible Lot Sizing: Supports Fixed Lot, Balance Step Progression, or Dynamic Equity Risk Percentage per trade, with automatic broker margin and volume-limit validation.
