A lightweight institutional charting utility designed to track, plot, and monitor the opening price benchmarks of the four major global trading sessions: Tokyo, Frankfurt, London, and New York.
The indicator anchors horizontal open levels, projects them cleanly to the close of each trading day, preserves historical session levels across a user-defined lookback window, and alerts you the moment price retests any session line.
Core Features
-
Multi-Session Coverage: Automatically captures the exact bar open for Tokyo, Frankfurt, London, and New York based on your broker's server clock.
-
Intra-Day Line Extension: Open price lines automatically extend horizontally until the end of that trading day ( 23:59:59 Server Time ), preventing chart clutter from runaway rays.
-
Configurable Multi-Day History: Set InpHistoryDays to view session open levels across past trading days (e.g., past 5 days) for visual backtesting and key level analysis.
-
Direct On-Chart Identification: Every line is tagged with a color-coded session name badge and exact price readout (e.g., London Open (1.08520) ).
-
Live HUD Dashboard: A dark-themed cockpit positioned directly on your chart displaying real-time session open prices, current price distance in pips ( + / - ), and active monitoring states ( ARMED , HIT , STANDBY ).
-
Multi-Channel Alert Engine: Dispatches alerts instantly when price enters the pip threshold of any session open level via MT5 Terminal Popups, Custom Audio Cues, or Mobile Push Notifications to your phone.
-
Zero Resource Drag: Lightweight MQL5 graphic object management with automated day-rollover purging keeps CPU usage and chart lag negligible.
Dashboard Overview
-
TODAY: The recorded opening price of the current day's session.
-
DISTANCE: Live gap between the current market quote and the session open, measured in standard pips.
-
ALERT STATUS:
-
STANDBY : Session has not opened yet.
-
ARMED : Session is open; line is actively monitored for retests.
-
HIT : Price has tapped the session open line (alert dispatched, armed state disengaged to prevent alert spam).
-
Strategic Applications
-
Session Open Retests & Mean Reversion: Institutional liquidity frequently tests or sweeps session opens (such as the Frankfurt open during the London open, or London open during New York morning session) before continuing trend direction.
-
Directional Bias & ICT True Day Open: Use the Frankfurt or London open as an intraday anchor: trading above the session open reflects bullish intraday order flow; trading below indicates bearish pressure.
-
Previous Day Session Open Confluence: With historical lines enabled, older session opens from prior days frequently act as high-probability support and resistance inflection points.
