RealOne Breakout Gold — Multi-Timeframe Breakout EA for XAUUSD

RealOne Breakout Gold trades gold (XAUUSD) breakouts on the H1 chart. It enters when the last closed bar of a faster timeframe breaks both its own previous bar and the last closed bar of a slower timeframe. Two timeframe pairs are checked: H1/H4 and M5/H1. Each signal bar is used only once per direction.

How it trades

  • Every trade has a stop loss and take profit set from ATR (default SL 1.2 × ATR, TP 2.6 × ATR)
  • An adaptive trailing stop widens or tightens with market volatility
  • No grid, no martingale, no averaging down
  • Up to 4 open positions (adjustable)

Entry filters

  • Volatility regime and volatility expansion filters skip quiet markets
  • Pause after consecutive losses, and spacing between same-direction entries
  • Optional news filter based on the MT5 economic calendar

Risk controls

  • Fixed lot or risk % of equity per trade
  • Optional equity target, max drawdown, daily drawdown and daily profit target, with automatic close and entry stop
  • Optional on-chart dashboard

Backtest (XAUUSD H1, 2023.08–2026.08, 100% real ticks, fixed 0.01 lot, 10,000 USD)

  • 547 trades, net profit +3,976.65 USD, profit factor 1.63
  • Maximum equity drawdown 2.76%
  • Most of the profit came from January–March 2026, a period of high gold volatility. Outside that period the profit factor was about 1.1–1.2. Please read the results with this in mind.
