Poomerang Trio Gold Hunter
Three approaches to gold trading. Control from one dashboard.
Poomerang Trio Gold Hunter is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor (EA) specialized for XAUUSD/GOLD.
It brings volatility-based exposure management, price breakouts and multi-factor signals together in one system.
Each engine follows its own trading rules. From a single dashboard, you can monitor performance,check engine status and pause new entries individually while the EA continues managing existing positions.
Engine 1: Passive Volatility
A long-only engine that adjusts target exposure using realized volatility and configurable exposure limits.
It combines position rebalancing with cycle-based cash profit and loss exits. Entry filters determine when the engine can add exposure.
Engine 2: Price Breakout
Trades session breakout and H1 swing breakout setups. Its two cores use distinct entry and management rules, including configurable breakout buffers, trailing stops,
break-even management and trading-day filters. Optional NFP and FOMC filters use dates entered in the settings. They do not download a live news calendar.
Engine 3: Multi-Factor Confluence
Evaluates M15 setups using trend, momentum, tick-volume activity, ATR volatility and pivot structure, with configurable session filters and optional ADX filtering.
Depending on the signal score, a setup can use one or three separate positions with staged take-profit levels. Optional first-target protection manages the remaining positions after the first target is reached.
Control and visibility
- Individual entry controls: Pause or resume new entries for each engine.
- Performance dashboard: View account equity, EA net profit, engine status and per-engine performance statistics, including drawdown.
- Configurable trade management: Adjust sizing, exposure, entry filters and engine-specific exit settings.
- Execution checks: Apply spread, margin and open-risk checks before eligible new entries.
- Optional CSV logging: Save operating data for further analysis.
Switching an engine OFF on the dashboard pauses new entries only. It does not automatically close existing positions.
How the system operates
Trio Gold Hunter waits for its entry conditions. It does not open a position simply because it has been attached to a chart, and there is no fixed number of trades per day.
Keep MetaTrader 5 running, connected and enabled for Algo Trading while the EA manages positions. Cash-cycle exits and some position-management functions depend on the EA remaining active.
The news calendar requires maintenance. When enabled news filters encounter dates outside their configured coverage, Engine 2 pauses new entries until the settings are updated.
Trading requirements
- MetaTrader 5 desktop terminal on a computer or compatible Windows VPS.
- A USD-denominated hedging account. Netting and non-USD accounts are not supported by this configuration.
- A gold symbol containing XAU or GOLD, with a broker-reported contract size of 100.
- Recommended chart: XAUUSD/GOLD M15.
- A stable connection, sufficient historical data and compatible minimum-volume and volume-step specifications.
Our suggested minimum starting balance is USD 500. This is not a guarantee of sufficient margin or acceptable risk. Broker conditions, minimum lot sizes and selected settings can require more capital.
Getting started
- Evaluate the Market demo in the MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester.
- After purchase, attach the EA to a compatible gold M15 chart on a broker demo account.
- Review account specifications, position sizing, broker-time settings and news dates.
- Enable Algo Trading and check the dashboard and Experts log.
- Verify operation on the demo account before considering live trading.
