Robust_HEDGE is designed to operate across multiple markets and instruments.
It works natively and effectively on:
- Mini Index (index contracts) and Mini Dollar (dollar futures).
- Forex: major pairs such as XAUUSD (gold) and EURUSD, as well as other
currencies and cross-pairs.
It is ideal for both Brazilian Mini Index/Mini Dollar traders and
Forex traders looking for a grid strategy with protection.
Robust_HEDGE is a powerful Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 that
combines Grid Trading strategies with technical filters (Moving Averages
and RSI). It offers 4 distinct operating modes, adapting to any
market condition.
Key features:
- 4 operating modes via GridDirection:
0 = BUY ONLY (uptrend)
1 = SELL ONLY (downtrend)
2 = BOTH (sideways market)
3 = HEDGE PROTECTION (recommended - opens Buy + Sell simultaneously)
HEDGE PROTECTION MODE (mode 3):
- Initial opening: 1 BUY + 1 SELL at the same time (perfect hedge, neutral risk).
- Trend detection: if price rises by GridDistance points -> opens another BUY.
- Protection: if price falls by GridDistance points -> opens another SELL.
- Balance: maintains the balance between BUYs and SELLs within HedgeMaxImbalance.
- Closing: closes EVERYTHING with profit when the basket reaches HedgeMinProfit.
Technical filters (applied only to the first order):
- Fast MA (default 20) - blocks buys below the average.
- Slow MA (default 200) - blocks sells above the average.
- RSI (default 14) - Reversal or Trend mode (InvertRSI).
5-layer risk management:
- Individual Stop Loss (UsePerTradeSL)
- Basket Stop (UseBasketStop) - closes everything if total loss reaches X%.
- Daily Stop Loss (UseDailyStopLoss) - blocks trading for the day after the limit is reached.
- Global Take Profit (GlobalTakeProfit) - closes everything at global profit.
- Basket Trailing (UseBasketTrailing) - secures profit during pullbacks.
Real-time visual dashboard:
- Account: Balance, Equity, Daily/Weekly/Monthly P/L.
- Positions: floating profit, open orders, color-coded grid mode.
- Indicators: Fast MA, Slow MA, RSI.
- Risk and status: Global TP, Daily SL, ACTIVE/BLOCKED status, server time,
last action executed. Parameter menu: Lot, Grid, MAs, RSI, Daily TP/SL, Basket Stop,
Per-trade SL, Basket Trailing, Time settings, Individual Trailing Stop, and Dashboard.
Recommended usage:
- Sideways market: GridDirection=3 + HedgeMaxImbalance=3.
- Uptrend: GridDirection=0 + InvertGrid=false (Pyramiding).
- Downtrend: GridDirection=1 + InvertGrid=false (Pyramiding).
- Always test in the Strategy Tester before trading on a live account.
