Meridian Capital EA
Built for the Long Game
Meridian Capital EA is a fully automated trading system designed for traders who prefer a systematic, long-term approach rather than short-term profit chasing.
The system uses a proprietary internal decision process with its core strategy parameters fixed internally. This keeps the trading model consistent and minimizes the possibility of accidental configuration changes.
Key Features
* Fully Automated — designed to operate without manual intervention once configured.
* Dynamic Position Sizing — choose between fixed lot sizing or equity-based position sizing.
* Built-In Risk Controls — automated trade management and session controls.
* Spread Protection — prevents new entries when the spread exceeds the configured limit.
* Slippage Control — configurable maximum execution deviation.
* Multi-Position Management — manages multiple concurrent positions using a unique Magic Number.
* Clean On-Chart Dashboard — displays essential account/trading information without exposing proprietary strategy calculations.
* 0.01 Lot Support — suitable for accounts using micro-lot position sizes.
Recommended Use
* Primary Market: XAUUSD (Gold)
* Internal Trading Timeframe: M1
* Chart Timeframe: The EA internally uses its designated timeframe regardless of the chart timeframe.
* VPS: Recommended for continuous automated operation.
* Account: Choose an account size appropriate for your selected position-sizing configuration.
* Broker: A broker with reliable execution and competitive spreads is recommended.
Position Sizing
Meridian Capital EA provides both fixed and equity-based position sizing.
With dynamic sizing enabled, the lot size can adjust according to account equity. A larger equity allocation per 0.01 lot results in lower position exposure, while a smaller allocation results in higher position exposure.
Suggested starting configuration:
$4,000 equity per 0.01 lot for a more conservative position-sizing approach.
Users should select their position-sizing configuration according to their own risk tolerance and account size.
Available Inputs
Only the following settings are available for user configuration:
* Dynamic Lot — enables or disables equity-based position sizing.
* Fixed Lot Size — used when dynamic sizing is disabled.
* Dynamic Lot Equity Amount — equity amount associated with the dynamic lot calculation.
* Maximum Spread — maximum spread permitted for new entries.
* Deviation Points — maximum permitted execution deviation.
* Magic Number — unique identifier for the EA’s trades.
All other core strategy parameters are internally controlled.
Long-Term Approach
Meridian Capital EA is designed with a long-term trading approach in mind.
Short periods may produce limited, flat, or negative results depending on market conditions. The system should therefore be evaluated over a meaningful period rather than judged solely on a few days or weeks of performance.
Position sizing should always be selected according to the user’s account size and risk tolerance.
Risk Disclaimer
Trading financial markets involves substantial risk and can result in the loss of capital. Past backtest or trading performance does not guarantee future results. No specific return or profit is guaranteed. Users should test the EA on a demo account and understand its behavior before using it with real funds.
