CyberLab Scalper is an automated, multi-factor scalping Expert Advisor built specifically for XAUUSD / GOLD (recommended timeframe: M15, M5 supported). It combines market structure, trend, momentum, candle quality ("spark plug") and volume confirmation into a single confluence signal, then manages every trade with automatic SL/TP, a dynamic trailing stop, and full protection filters.

It is not a grid, martingale, or averaging strategy — one position at a time, with strict risk control.

⚙️ How it works

CyberLab Scalper waits for all five filters to agree on a freshly closed M5/M15 candle before it enters. If even one filter disagrees, it stays out of the market.

1. Trend filter (EMA structure)

  • Fast EMA (default 50) vs Slow EMA (default 200)
  • Price must be on the correct side of the fast EMA
  • Fast EMA must be expanding in the signal direction
  • Optional: minimum EMA-gap and multi-bar trend alignment

2. Momentum filter

  • Confirms the move with price momentum vs the recent swing (5 bars back)

3. Market structure filter (swing breakout)

  • Detects swing highs/lows (fractal method)
  • Buy only after price breaks above the last confirmed swing high
  • Sell only after price breaks below the last confirmed swing low
  • Keeps you out of range-bound chop

4. Candle quality filter ("spark plug")

  • Strong body / range ratio (default ≥ 0.55)
  • Small wicks / range ratio (default ≤ 0.45)
  • Minimum candle range (default 30 points)
  • Directional candle (bullish for buy, bearish for sell)

5. Volume confirmation filter

  • Signal candle tick volume must be ≥ 1.2 × the 20-bar average volume
  • Filters out low-participation, unreliable moves

⚠️ Only when all 5 conditions align the EA opens a trade at the start of the next bar — no repainting, signals are computed on closed candles.

  • Holiday / weekend filter — blocks trading on weekends and user-defined holiday dates
  • Daily trade limit — max 5 trades per day
  • Cooldown — 15 min wait after each entry
  • Max spread filter — blocks entries when spread exceeds 1000 points
  • Slippage control — max 30 points deviation

  4. Use a broker with low gold spread (spread filter can be tightened to ~300–500 pts on good brokers)
  5. Run with "Allow Algo Trading" enabled and check that the news filter matches your broker's server timezone schedule

📝 Customer notes / FAQ

  • "Why did it not trade all day?" — That is normal. CyberLab Scalper only enters when all five filters agree. It can stay flat for hours or days; the on-chart panel tells you the reason at all times.
  • Is it safe on a prop firm account? — It includes daily limits, risk caps and no-grid design; still, always test with your prop firm's rules (daily loss, news ban) and adjust the news filter accordingly.
  • Does it work on other pairs? — Built and tuned for gold; other pairs are not recommended.
