  • Optional auto-compounding lot sizing based on account balance

📐 Grid & Martingale Engine

  • Configurable grid step (in pips) between layers

Important Risk Notice: This EA uses a martingale/grid strategy, which increases position size after adverse price movement to average the entry price. This approach can produce a high win rate in ranging or mean-reverting conditions, but carries substantial drawdown and capital-loss risk during strong trending moves. Users should thoroughly backtest and forward-test on a demo account, understand their broker's margin requirements (hedging accounts required for BOTH-direction mode), and use appropriate position sizing relative to account equity before running this EA on a live account.

💡 Recommended: Start on a Cent Account Because Robust Hybrid uses a martingale/grid strategy with up to 500 layers, position sizing can escalate quickly if the market trends against the grid. A Cent Account is strongly recommended before running this EA on a Standard account:

  • Real market conditions, minimal risk — Cent accounts execute on live spreads/liquidity (unlike a demo), so you get an authentic feel for how the grid behaves, while each 1.00 lot on Cent equals roughly 0.01 lot on Standard — keeping actual dollar exposure very small.
  • Proper stress-testing of the grid — Since deposits are typically in cents (e.g. $100 deposit on Cent), you can let the EA run through full drawdown cycles and observe how GridStepPips, LotExponent, and MaxLayers interact — without risking meaningful capital.
  • Fine-tune settings safely — Use the Cent account to calibrate MaxDrawdownPercent, HardClosePercent, BasketTP_USD, and TradeStartHour/TradeEndHour to match your broker's typical volatility before scaling up.
  • Broker compatibility check — Confirm your Cent account is a hedging-type account if you plan to use ENTRY_BOTH mode, since netting accounts will reject simultaneous Buy+Sell positions (the EA blocks BOTH mode on netting accounts automatically).

Suggested workflow: run Robust Hybrid on a Cent account for at least several weeks across varying market conditions (trending and ranging) to observe full grid cycles and drawdown recovery behavior, before considering a Standard live account with position sizing adjusted to your real risk tolerance.
