Overview

Short-Term Basket EA MT5 is an Expert Advisor for the MetaTrader 5 platform, designed to manage a sequence of trades with a basket trading strategy, aiming to achieve a specified profit target.

Features

• Opens an initial trade in a user-specified direction.

• Reopens a trade in the same direction with the same lot size and target if the previous trade closes in profit.

• Opens a hedge trade in the opposite direction with the same lot size and target, plus an additional trade in the opposite direction with double the lot size and double the target, if the previous trade closes at a loss.

• Repeats the sequence for each trade leg until the basket profit target is reached.

• Closes all trades when the total basket profit reaches the specified amount.

• Option to restart the trading sequence after achieving the basket profit.

Input Parameters

Trade Settings

• Initial Trade Direction: Choose between Buy or Sell (default: Buy).

• Initial Lot Size: Starting lot size for the first trade (default: 0.01).

• Lot Size Multiplier: Multiplier for the additional trade's lot size after a loss (default: 2.0).

• Initial Target (Pips): Profit target for the first trade in pips (default: 20.0).

• Target Multiplier: Multiplier for the additional trade's target distance after a loss (default: 2.0).

Basket Settings

• Basket Profit: Total profit target for the basket in account currency (default: 50.0).

• Restart Sequence: Enable or disable restarting the trading sequence after reaching the basket profit (default: true).

General Settings

• Magic Number: Unique identifier for trades managed by this EA (default: 6436347).
