Hi, I purchased the system last week.  Set up it for 2 days on 1 hr timeframe, no signal.  Tried on 5min timeframe for a day also not any a single alert.  Please advice

Hi Mike,

I am renting the scanner as well as the indicator and have to agree with Paul above. No pop-up or push alerts (I have not tested email alerts but presume it will be the same issue there). The instruments are written the same way as they appear in the Market Watch window. So that is not the issue.

I have checked it and found out that for instance GBPUSD gave a signal in the indicator during this night at 2:40 (GMT+2). I would have expected the scanner to alert me.

Please if you can have a look at it. I will also write this as a private message since MQL5 is upgrading the messaging system and probably you will not get notified about new comments here.

Forgot to mention it. The time frame for that GBPUSD signal was M5. Could is be so that the scanner has a slighty different logic than the indicator?

Hi Jan, thank you for renting the indicators. 

One thing first: I highly recommend to use only the signals from >= M30 at the beginning. And I invite you to join the telegram group with 480+ members where you can learn to trade DTB.

About the missing alert GBPUSD M5 it can be the following reason:

If you configure the alerter to check 30 instruments and 7 time frames (>=M5) and the alerter checks 1 instrument/time frame combination per second then one iteration through all instrument/time frame combinations would take at least 210 seconds (30 x 7). 210 seconds are 3 and a half minutes.

The GBPUSD M5 gets only checked every 3 and a half minutes. If the signal occurred within this time span and then the M5 which gave the signal was closed before the next check occurred then this signal was missed by the alerter.

As i said, I recommend to trade >=M30 because of the reliability of the signals. But if you really need the signals from M5 too, then you should configure a separate instance of the alerter on a second chart where you only check the M5 timeframe. Then the iteration through all instruments is only 30 seconds (30x1)

Hi Mike and thanks for your promt reply.

actually I have it already setup this way. M5 and M15 on a separate chart. I read it somewhere on your web page. I was also not alerted about the USDCAD M5 singal at 7:40 this morning. But nevermind. I will now focus on the >=M30 time frames.

But now I see one signal EURAUD M30 at 11:30 today and also on H1 at 12:00. I was not alerted. I have restarted the terminal this morning. I have also put the scanner on another machine. Additionally I have checked the Expert and Journal tabs. Found nothing there which could be connected to this. I guess that the problem Paul reported above is of the same character. Are you running the scanner yourself? Did you get any alerts today?

Is your scanner by the way using the exact same logic as the indicator?

Hello to all who bought or rented the Scanner,

I found a bug in the software thanks to the feedback from Paul and Jan! There was only 1 word in 1 line of the code wrong. But this wrong word lead to the error that no alerts were reported.

I have uploaded the fixed version today. Now it can take up to 10 working days until the new fixed version (1.2) will be published.

Hello Maithai,

you do nothing wrong. There is a little bug in the version 1.3 which alerts the correct signal BUT then doesn't reset the alert and then alerts other instruments too which don't have a signal.

I have submitted the version 1.4 a week ago. I'm waiting every day that the mql5-support will publish 1.4.
