I don't respect Zuckerberg by default, social networks are evil IMHO, enough profile platforms for communication.
He didn't expect it to work out this way. Everything came out of early passion, accumulated experience, some psychological nuances and a small idea that turned into a mega-project. ))
P.S. And anything can turn into evil if it is abused. ))

Any person dumping something on the billionth public by definition should be socially responsible, and calculate how it will turn out.
Well, okay, at the beginning I didn't know, but then I realised that social networking leads to addiction and eats up billions of man-hours, why continue?
Let's give the Colombian drug dealers a medal.
And this is only one side of the coin, and the fact that he sells confidential information of users to corporations, which build on its basis more sophisticated brainwashing machine, is that not evil?
It's just that in the pursuit of the megadollar, this "man" has no brakes.
For some reason Tesla, having realised the prematurity of his discoveries, refused to publish them, because he was socially responsible.
People who have accidentally made money on some dangerous thing then repent their sins to society (Nobel, the inventor of dynamite),
and Zuckerberg doesn't want to stop, he's doing nothing useful but promoting this nonsense by pouring more and more money into it. It's like a monkey with a grenade.
The idea that people I know know know people I know is nonsense.
The spread of information through such a network is like a snowball effect.
...
Now, even if he wanted to change anything, he couldn't. As soon as money starts to circulate in a project, the project no longer belongs entirely to its founder. The project already has many investors, shareholders, etc.
You also call the internet evil and then everything is fine. )) If there were no social networks, there is the Internet and it is also a big addiction for a very large number of people who sit and just look at pictures, games and so on. Not drawing knowledge, but rubbish. That is, something where you don't have to think. ))
I can't say anything about Tesla. Or rather, I can say something, but it's all my assumptions. I assume that we don't know at all how it really was, and the available information is distorted. Any technology can be used for good, or it can be used for evil. The current system is very flawed and I don't even know what it would take to change it. It's a very difficult task. Everything has grown and multiplied a lot and a lot of things need to be changed. And besides, there will probably be people who will not want to change and will offer such resistance that it will not be enough. ))

Well, Zuckerberg can't stop Facebook (or rather he can, but it won't do anything, because the idea of stealing personal information has penetrated into businessmen's heads, not Facebook, but someone else), but he can turn the resources received for the good?
But no, he does nothing useful for the society, he only harms, a nasty person.
ZЫ Sergey Brin, Larry Page, Eric Schmidt for me these people are an example for inheritance (by the way they are Jews too, so you can't accuse me of anti-simitism).
ZZY I don't want to talk about Zuckerberg anymore, I don't want to even think about him.

The element does not ask for our assessments. It doesn't seem to require a great mind to understand this fact. But it's not enough for wisdom. It is necessary to drink this cup to the bottom, to realise the fact to the ground. Only complete humility in the face of such phenomena leads to a real understanding of their evolutionary role.

We can talk about pornography. We can exchange opinions on pornography. Oh, yeah, we forgot all about drugs. And forex isn't far behind. :)
Kisses, everybody. Always with you.

So this conversation is not about him, but in general. )) They say that he announced that he has joined the Giving Pledge, the philanthropic campaign of billionaires Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. So maybe you were wrong to be so angry with him. )) Although on the other hand, we don't even know exactly how this philanthropic campaign is going.
All entrepreneurial activity is very much imbued with the idea of stealing. It's as old as the world. Almost everyone who wants to make money (a lot of money) is looking for something to steal (ideas). Or to change (develop) from the already existing ones so much that they do not violate anything (the best development option). And sometimes they don't even care, they still violate and sue afterwards. And very often they even wash their hands with blood. So it's all rather complicated to make any hasty conclusions. You can just imagine yourself in the shoes of a person who at such a young age manages to achieve such results. There are plenty of examples. Mark just happened to get caught up in it. )))
