On Friday, October 2, 2026, an update to MetaTrader 4 will be released. The new version includes several important security enhancements, bug fixes, and changes designed to improve the platform's overall stability.

Improved management of Stop Loss and Take Profit levels for positions on the same instrument in FIFO mode:

  1. If a position with predefined SL/TP levels is already open for an instrument, and the New Order window is opened for the same instrument, the current Stop Loss and Take Profit values will be automatically populated in the corresponding fields.
  2. If the SL/TP levels are modified in the New Order window, the updated values will be applied to both the existing position and the newly opened position.
  3. If multiple positions for the same instrument are open without SL/TP levels and these levels are set for one of the positions, the values will be applied to all positions opened for that instrument.
  4. When a new position is opened using One Click Trading, the existing SL/TP values defined for that instrument will be applied automatically.

The update will be delivered through the Live Update system.
