"Your ideas are absolutely worthless. Your execution is everything."
I gave you a specific example. One guy published an indicator in Codebase, and another guy sold it hundreds or thousands of times. Same idea, different execution.
Ah yes the code base ! , with half baked ideas or decent attempts someone spent countless hours on
Codebase is increasingly filled with generated content. So is the market, by the way.
nefarious activities
the only way these EA's can possibly be best sellers on here are those nefarious activities I speak of
If you continue to play the victim (appeal to pity) on the forum, your comments will be considered self-promotion and deleted.

Playing the victim is a very convenient choice, but it leads to poor prospects. Keep looking for excuses while others are looking for opportunities.Codebase is increasingly filled with generated content. So is the market, by the way.

So, let’s step back for a moment to the general idea. Is it possible to organize a fair competition between EAs on this platform? Real rules, no hidden engines — and if any exist, they would be revealed very quickly during the competition. Any strategy should be allowed, any lot size, and so on.The whole point is not to judge the top EAs by profit only, but also by lot size, number of transactions, balance drawdown, equity drawdown, and other stability metrics.
I'm just a public forum moderator. Your idea sounds interesting, but I'm not very optimistic about the likelihood of MetaQuotes implementing it.
Requests to re-run the Automated Trading Championship appear periodically on the forum, but unfortunately, so far there has been no result.
I've once again become convinced that salesmanship is no less important than the ability to code your product.
When you talk about salesmanship, I'm curious what your prospect is on selling things here on this market, as you don't seem to be selling something.
I don't know what my prospects are. Right now, I'm just observing from the sidelines and trying to figure out how the successful guys differ from the less successful ones.
I know several successful sellers here (tens of thousands of sales), and I know they don't try any dirty tricks. So, I'm confident that any user can become a top seller if they develop a good product and have the skills to sell it.
