Yes, the rules are not quite perfect, a lot of things are subject to the "SPIRIT" and are not clearly spelled out in them, but despite this they are quite adequate.
2. It should also be noted that although the general policy of the organisers remains unchanged the rules are still being changed. For example, in this championship the minimum lot was reduced (to 0.01), which undoubtedly contributed to the emergence of new interesting strategies. I believe that such a growth of interest in multicurrency can be attributed to this (and similar decisions).
I hope that the organisers will continue to make the rules more suitable for creating effective trading systems.

In this case, you do not need to change the code of this Expert Advisor as recommended by Andrey Voitenko, but take it as it is and run it from 03.10.2011. The result will coincide one to one.
The Expert Advisor is really optimised for trading for this year from 01.01.2011 and shows exactly the results that the author of the Expert Advisor writes about.
However, the Expert Advisor merges immediately, literally having made a couple of transactions in the period from 01.01.2009 and 01.01.2010. Putting stop orders does not help, as well as reducing the initial lot. The Expert Advisor is trending, as the author writes, and this is indeed true. When flat weather occurs, the accumulated advantage in the trend is completely lost. This fact can be found by testing the Expert Advisor for this year. Therefore, if a flat occurs in the next two months, it will be manifested at the Championship. The author also writes about it.
From the Championship point of view, the strategy chosen by the author of the Expert Advisor claims to be correct (the Championship does not need Expert Advisors that will be suitable for trading on real accounts). The main thing in the Championship is the victory, and the victory is achieved by the result of profit, and the result depends on the trading period, and the trading period is nothing. That's why when an Expert Advisor gets into a trend (and this is a case), which can be prolonged, it becomes a leader. And if the start of the Championship was flat, the result could have been the same as it has been since 01.01.2009 or 01.01.2010, and no one would be interested in it.
But it is possible to show the results, which are expected by the organisers and sponsors of the championship, comparable to the profits from 600% and higher (because they are ready to pay for it!), in such an original way! - These are the rules!
