MT5 Totally Screwed after recent Update

Hello Everyone !
My MT5 Desktop app is now completely screwed after the recent update. It is now sluggish not responding to even the basic EAs and gets stuck rendering it totally unusable. So much so that even the windows explorer gets stuck. I have tried all solutions from re installing , windows update, clearing caches.
And NO i am not using any beta version nor checked for beta updates.
Anyone else facing this problem ?????
I just am sort of stuck in this problem. Even right now as i am writing this my windows is slowed like a slug due to stuck MT5 trader im background. Even the task manager stops responding. first i thought its my pc but then even my pc has got 8 gb of ram with an SSD . I dont know whats wrong please fix the issue for me  MT 5 Team

Hi, my MT5 is also not working and I got it with regular updates. Not possibly to see anything in journal as it does not show anything - but my audio alerts are working . It does not even show in task manager between apps, just in background processes. Download link here(not telegram) for exe file - previous version would be highly appreciated.

Hello i have the same issue, my MT5 is not working at all - completely frozen due to the update - I have not found any news or info from meta trader about a fix

No errors in the journal or the log. Loading a custom EA which worked perfectly fine before the update now hangs the whole operating system. Even triggering of a sell or buy call on another EA hangs the system.

This happened after the update. Earlier, it was working perfectly fine

I have not found any news or info from meta trader about a fix

Look at the previous post with the link to the thread to downgrade to past stable build.
Or wait for new beta which will fix this issue.

Did you manually uninstall this and re installed the older version ? 

Plus what to do if it prompts for update again ?

Can you please guide

I read somewhere that if u keep using older version, meta servers cut u off slowly... So how long before we resist updates

I have just ovewritten old files with three files from Alain Verleyen forge.mql5.io (mentioned here: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/502088 ) and declined to update. Working so far.

Perfect, can you share name or screenshot of those exe files specifically.
